Obviously, Lt. Col Haroon is Shaheed. (That is for Muslims as far as Islam is concerned).

Well, people that die fighting for the army are Shaheed as they die performing their duty (as this duty is considered as Islamic). According to Islamic classification, anyone that dies performing their duty (that is considered as duty under Islamic classification) is Shaheed.

As for Lal building people, they are neither dying for Allah (doing jihad fe-sabilillah) neither dying while performing their duty. They are not meeting their death due to illness or accident, neither they are dying defending their lives and property (that category of Shahadah is for those that are living peacefully but fight to defend their life and property from Zalims who want to take it away from them by force). Actually, Lal building criminals are dying as outlaws while creating fitna in the country, and thus their death is similar to death of an animal, death of rat (kuttu wali maut).

[Note: Though I know that many retards and jahil retarded so-called ulema would consider their kutta maut as shahadah, though it is not. These retarded jahil ulemas only misguide innocent Muslims to get a one way ticket to Jahannum to live there for eternity].

It is being reported that Mullah Abdul Aziz's wife. UMME HASSAN, principal of the women side was the mastermind of Ninja Attacks. She was also reported to be convincing the remaining ninjas to stay inside and not lay arms calling the occasion as the opportunity for shehadat. It kinda makes sense keeping in mind that at times Abdul Rashid seemed embarrassed about the ninja attacks.... UMME HASSAN had gotten out of control........i hope she gets one in the head.

Major among four killed in bomb blast

TIMERGARAH (Lower Dir), July 6: Four army personnel were killed and another was critically wounded when a military jeep leading a convoy was hit by a roadside bomb near Dargai on the Peshawar-Swat highway on Friday.

Officials suspect that the device fitted to a bicycle parked on the highway in Pull Chowki area was exploded by a remote control.

The device went off at about 2pm when the convoy was going towards Swat, Ali Rehmat, an official of Malakand Levies, said.Traffic on the highway remained suspended for about four hours as officials of Chitral Scouts and Malakand Levies blocked the road from Chakdara Bridge up to the site of the blast.

According to official sources, Maj Afaq of Kashmir, Lt Zia of Charsadda and sepoys Tanveer of Sahiwal and Barkat of Gilgit died. Driver Anwar of Gujar Khan, who was injured critically, was taken to Batkhela hospital and then to Mardan.

Levies officials said that no body parts had been found at the site suggesting it was not a suicide bombing. They were of the view that a remote control had been used to explode the device.

Witnesses told Dawn that troops had been moving towards the Swat district since Thursday, where situation was tense and there was a possibility of a showdown between supporters of Maulana Fazlullah and law-enforcement agencies.

They said the highway was in a bad shape and it was being repaired at the place where the vehicle was hit.

Syed Zahid Jan in Upper Dir adds: A Frontier Corps convoy going to Shandur to provide security to the polo festival escaped a roadside bomb blast in Darora area. The windscreen of a vehicle was damaged but no one was injured.

The convoy comprising 15 to 20 vehicles was about 30km south of Dir town when the explosion took place at about 9.30am.

Police said the convoy advanced towards Chitral.

she was later confirmed to be still inside, and is reportedly responsible for the hostage situation as she's using emotional blackmailing to keep people in

Man, whats with you and your constant attempts at halting discussion in this thread? Anytime someone shows sympathy for the military personal, you bring in some other stuff into the thread as if its relevant to the topic at hand. Yes, other Pakistani soldiers have lost their life and yes those topics have not had the same amount of posts in their threads. So what? What exactly are you trying to prove here and why does it matter? When there is news of 20-30 people dying in a bus crash in Pakistan, do you go and say “Pssshh…about 50 people die in Iraq everyday…why don’t we talk about them instead”?

And this is ridiculous. I honestly hope he doesn’t get killed. He should be made an example of and treated the way every terrorist deserves to be treated…like dogs. okay here is a question, somethign i am confused about and asked earlier too.

a few montsh ago when the whole stand off with the burqa and bniqab clad mob occured, there were some parents who came and took their daughters away

then as this thing started getting bad week after week, did parents not think that maybe this is the type of place that they did not want their kids to be?

and then when the siege started and ppl were asked to surrender, did parents not think that maybe they need to show up to make sure theri kids get out..

I understand poverty and inability of ppl to get their quickly after the most recent stuff that started this week.

but..why did they leave their kids there when they saw what this place was doign over the last few months, kidnapping people, harassing businesses.

aside from poverty is there another excuse? of course this excludes orphans there who dont have anyone to see what is happening and take them out over the last few months.

no no, i really dont want to just point fingers I really want to understand.
poverty i understand, orphans I understand
but the rest, it seems like parents allowed their kids, or older pupils there decided to stay because either they did not disagree with what was going on, or wanted to mind their own business and study while others in the madrissa had this whole militancy going on.

I dont understand, and the question then is that if we have people who stayed there because they agreed with the mentality and are now willing or unwilling hostages..what kind of help they will need to be rehabilitated and get rid of this brainwashing
