Re: Breaking News: Paramilitary Police clash with Lal Mosque idiots!
sure sure. when left defenseless, invent new idioms. :)
I am cornered? hey last time I checked..it isn't such a bad deal being cornered in pak..is it? U get all sort of media attention, willing audience...govt. high ups turning up to massage ur left foot, and what not..as long as u r in Islamabad, which unfortunately I am. So I ain't all that worried :)
This govt. courtesy, as we all know, does not go beyond Isb so when innocent Baloch's/Waziri's r killed, its running off on tangents. If 1200+ debriefings and all the tech dooh dahs donated by Amreeka...*[ohhh what did Mush say to Bugti..He wont even know what hit him..yeah that was it...] *can't help this govt. figure out a way inside, then maybe its time these guys open up a *pan *shop or something? What say u? But of course of course, we r running off on a tangent here now..arent we? The newfound govt. love for "innocent" Pakistanis runs deep and wide into general's bloodstream. tee hee :)
I am not objective, heck I sympathize with balochs, I may even be a traitor...but sir u surely r raising high the flags of objectivity and balanced views around here. Over to you. :)
Bhai, aap yahaan kuch bhool rahay hou. Try to remember. Same was happening with that another dumbo, Akbar Bugti.
Negotiation was going on with him and kept going on for ages. Government kept delaying hard tactics and Shujaat was working deals. Try to remember that at the time when some explosives went off in the cave where Bugti was hiding, there were some army personals negotiating with him inside and they also got killed as the cave collapsed.
Govt men presence inside meant that government forces did not blew that cave, it was an accident that happened from inside.
So, what these dumbs of red building is getting, lot of tolerance from the government for them, same happened with Bugti. Well, even people in Waziristan had good deal. If it was intolerant government, they would have used Airforce in the area extensively, as no government could allow state within state. Still, there is no indiscriminate continuous bombing in the area by Pakistan government.
compare Waziristan fiasco with Bhutto actions in 1973. Waziristan are challenging the writ of the government. In 1973 Bhutto disolved elected government of Baluchistan resulting in revolt in Balochistan. What Bhutto did? No negotiation, rather Bhutto unleashed armed forces under Tikka Khan, who was bombing them through out the operation that lasted until 1977 and when Zia came, he went on negotiating table, resulting in revolt to stop.
