what i see is that this thread started with a simple question that when is laila tul meraj in north america.
ever since then only one person was sensible enough to answer the question.
all others are just trying to prove to each other that they are more aware of the sunnat e nabwi(saw) and the religion.
but rather than giving reasons and logics it has become more like a personal argument.
i just ask one thing that if some person decides to do some ibaadat on this day or night of the year what wrong is he doing?
is he doing something for which he will go to hell?
just tell me what is wrong with it.
every soorah of the quran has some significance to it.
people recite surah maryam when a woman is in labor...is that sunnah....did our prophet(saw) do so?
if not then will alll those who do so rot in hell?
its really a useless discussion as no one will ever get anywhere except for trying to prove to each other that what they say or do or know is right and what others say or do or know is wrong.
