I know of all the things in Pakistan, this is what they find interesting?

I mean the series is on sexuality in pakistan, the subject is fine, but this person wrote it mazay lay lay kar and then with a holier than though approach rather than reporting it and even digging into motivations of ppl, how long has this ben going on, how do people hide it from family or is the family aware, are there subgroups there (a guy saying he saves his salary for drugs shows he is probably not from some super rich family)

all in all a very poor piece of writing, sure the writer is an amatuer, but therre are many writers on GS who can write better than that (both those i agree with and those that i dont)

how does anyone get any insight into this at all? it is s sensationalized piece of junk and I am surprised that BBC urdu editorial group could not just send it back to the writer and say, we need more, not this 6th grade level story

Thats utter bull****…they may wear revealing clothes by desi standards and they may get into even less at some of these parties but i doubt anyone gets naked. I think in the efforts to sensationalize, what the writer is not disclosing is that at such parties in some cases there are strippers invited as well, and they would strip.

Sure stuff happens in these circles but not out in the open like that. you may know that so and so slept with so and so, but either of the people do not strip in front of strangers. The hookups and all is also highly exxagerated, sure it happens but not everyone at these parties is drinking, doing drugs or getting laid.

alcohol hash, cocaine etc etc… the rich families do not have a monopoly on those. Agsin the group we are talkign about makes up what .. .0000001% or less of the population. surely they are not the only ones smoking pot and drinking alcohol.

Its easy to target this group, makes everyone feels so holy and proper and pakistani. In comparison one’s own musalmaniyat and pakistaniyat all of a sudden seems high.

Pathetic story, which paints a horny sensationalised account rather than reality.

The article says that people buy ranches/properties and then conduct this sh!t on the properties, therefore, it is private, not public.

And do you think 10 grams mean anything to a Coke addict?? If you are using it once a week ,then you are spending around 50,000 Rupees/month...And all these addicts are also alcoholics/Cigartte smokers ,where they spend thousands monthly

Have u been around the real elites? I mean people who have hundreds of millions in their bank accounts, who make more on their investments in a month than 20 executives make in a year. You really think that a few hundred thousand rupees a month is much issue for the truly rich? do they have to 'save' from their 'salaries'

teh article is full of errors, the whole part of girls dancing to that song.. it simply does not happen. How many of such parties have you been to? I have been to several dozen starting in as early as late 80's and nothing has changed really. now I have not been to these parties for 7 years or so, but know ppl who go there often and none of the type of stuff noted happens. this stripping of chcas from these families. skimpy clothes yes, but nothing beyond that in public.
