Lahori Accent?

have you guys heard of such a thing called lahori accent.
what happened today in school we were talking and i said something in urdu. i dont normally talk in urdu at school but it was a free lesson and all the paki gang was together and so when this called F heard my accent she said OMG you soooo have a lahori accent. then we started comparing how people from karachi(she is from karachi) in the class speak and how lahoris of the class speak and i was surprised to find a BIG major difference in the style of speaking. Have you ever noticed that?:blush:

It is weird because i never knew of this difference. Can someone help me solve this mystery:D

Yeah! There are different accents, eg 'faisalabadi' accent, 'lahori' accent, 'hinthko' accent etc...

lahoris are more "robdaar" when they speak-cos of the punjabi....whereas Karachites are more effeminate!

dude crescent- wats the faislabadi accent n hows it diffo 2 lahori? my naani side frm f/bad and daadi side frm lahore....but i jus say im lahori init! and big up the mirpuris LOL

as in more girly....
like french is a very femminine anguage- whereas german is masculine!

apparently i cant get pakistani stuff in shops here. but the topic is getting side tracked
can someone please tell me the exact difference between lahori accent and karachi accent

I havent found anything on the internet yet, but i remember that lahoris say 'key' and faisalabadis say 'keh' i think!

when i go there, my cousins especially want to speak english with me, so i am basically not practising my language which roasts me inside :mad2:

lol Alhamdulilah they are clever, because they are actually trying to learn from me! Even my accent lolz. But i also want to speak urdu/panjabi otherwise it may become weak...

lol my cousins always want to speak to me because they want to show they know english as well. show offing lolz what accent have you got i have a british accent. and true i dont want my urdu/punjabi/saraiki to ever become weak
