I’m from Lahore, but i love karachi as well, if i had to live in Pakistan ever in future, i would definately chose khi over Lahore.

my family has lived in lahore but they don’t fit in somehow maybe they’re not punjabi, they’re urdu speaking.

khair, i love lahore!! did anyone noticed how all the super models are also from lahore.. i.e vaneeza, iman, amna haq, zainab qiyuum.

Well, I hate these comparision topics to begin with, but while we are at it I'll say few things. I am from Karachi, never been to Lahore but heard a lot about it. I've many Punjabi friends that tell me about Lahore and it seems pretty nice place to be. Lahore is mainly known for its culture and food, Karachi on the other hand is very diverse when it comes to people and culture.

Everyday lifestyle is alot different from other cities. The lifestyle is a blend of South Asian, Middle Eastern and Western. If Cricket is a sport for guys, shopping is for girls. Karachi has the highest literacy rate of any of Pakistan's other cities as well as the highest number of universities and colleges.

Anyway, my proud Lahori friends, if you have time from your own great city than please do visit Karachi and see it for yourself. I hope you have a pleasent experience.

i think there is something wrong with your observation.

Punjab is known for paan and they thow red spit of paan everywhere. Believe it or not punjabs are more over weight then karachians

HAHAha Nia punjabis arent known for paan, its the people of karachi known for it. If u dont believe me ask your ama aba. I never said punjabis arent over weight. I said Karachi guys are thin as a stick and it seems their chicks eat all of their food too :D. I have been to lahore and karachi both gal. But it seems to me u havent or maybe u went there when you were too young. There is nothing wrong with my observation, everything from A-Z in that post is accurate.

Where have you been? The uneducated lot of Punjab/NWFP and villages of sind living in maleer, Laandhi, korangi and Orangi town area and yeah goli maar, lines area.. those w-11 drivers whose family either live in somewhere in punjab or NWFP. Who were you visiting?

Junoesque, your cry baby whinny assed opinion shows that you are desperately in need of a rectal broomstick extraction procedure.

Perhaps, not being able to enjoy it is directly related to not having the ability to come up with something intelligent, which in turn creates a feeling of inadequacy, which in turn can spawn a Napoleon complex, that can cause someone to logicise that what you actually said was absolutly anserine.

As with any subject of study, it is always helpful, nay, necessary to learn the terms of art that relate to the subject. When dealing with specified topics as such, intentions and connotation are obscure and vague, thus the unperceptiveness.
