MULTAN, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Food Security and Research Sikandar Hayat Bosan said on Monday that Metro Bus Service would be made operational in Multan in May 2016.

Talking to an open court in Multan on Monday, he said that Metro Bus Project was one of the biggest project of South Punjab, of which 70 percent work had been completed.** He said the government gave special Kissan package worth Rs 431 billion and won hearts of farmers.
The work on Metro bus project phase-2 would also be launched very soon to facilitate people coming from Muzaffargarh, Shujabad, Jalalpur Pirwala and Bahawalpur, he added.
Bosan said that people voted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in local bodies elections after observing its good performance.
The PML-N would make its government in all districts of Punjab, he said and added that local representatives of the party would serve masses round the clock.
True, the biggest children hospital is also in lahorw city muhalla Faisalabad, moreover, the rural development program under which roads of rural punjab is also in lahore, the roads in bahawalpur, Bhakar, multan, DIG, Mianwali is also being built in lahore…and all of above are blocks in lahore..
Few people here haven’t been to punjab or Lahore in there life or have merely visited place or two and have expert opinion about development of Punjab… Because simply they hate NS…whatever the case maybe, if Shareefs delivered… We ll elect them again in 2018…
The fate of whole of Pakistan is decided by Punjabis. Might as well change country’s name to Punjabistan.
I hope if Sharif brothers win 2018, the rest of the three provinces rise up for their rights. The certain types of Punjabis who fully gain from PMLN’s corruption, nepotism and personal political links need to realise that unlike them the rest of Pakistan is not in any mood to be enslaved by Sharif dynasty for another 20-30 years.
And btw, in this era of free media, pml-n agitated against PPP which is supposedly a ‘crime’ to incite hatred against the federal govt (noon words not mine). I still remember showbaz coming in his “street car” and joining protestors to ask for downfall of the govt; look at geo or many other channels coverage of it in the past.
I understand your frustration but note that pti is not an institution. if you think people of kpk has changed and only rest of Pakistan is hesitant to vote pti then imagine how much votes pti would get from kpk after IK when some punjabi takes the leadership of pti.
Ignoring the “Punjab” rant and discussion on the tangent above, as per what Kashif Abbasi read from the paper the projects that were cancelled were related to “sewerage”, “health”, “rozgar”, “ujala”… how beneficial would that be to drop “sewerage”, “health” (not sure what "rozgar and “Ujala” projects are) in favor of “metro” line? What I can tell you that in election campaigns they won’t be able to market the health-benefits public used as opposed to “see that metro? we built it”.
Now u have dropped punuab rant, sewerage is biggest issue and is being discussed by the people but guess what, the ones who suppose to make noise on this are obsessed with non issues such as COAS retirement, dhandli drama, and many more…
Health sector again is another major sector requires immediate attention, hospital and research centers are required, again no noise from media or opposition nor there any concerns shown by any…
Above two are prime examples of how things are neglected and how the issues important to us the people are of no concern to any of the ruling elite, be it govt or opposition…
In this scenario, if someone is doing something which give us relief in someway is always welcomed.

Today, in Sindh, in KPK in Balochistan things are ugly to say the least, the Ppp govt is busy looting and KPK govt had wasted two crucial years in doing nothing…
So if someone is doing something, we’ll take it anyday…it is better on sitting and dancing and doing nothing but delivering sermons…
So yes, i ll vote for them if the solve the energy crisis and deliver what they promised
IK is as Punjabi is as Nawaz Sharif. Pashtuns gave PTI votes in 2013 with the following team:
Usad Umar (Karachi), Arif Alvi (Karachi), Late Zahra Apa (Karachi), Ali Zaidi (Karachi), Naz Baloch (Karachi, Naeem ul Haq (Karachi), Imran Ismail (Karachi), Fauzia Kasuri (Islamabad), Shareen Mizari (Islamabad), Jahangir Tareen (Islamabad/South Punjab) Shah Mahmood Qureshi (Multan), Hamid Khan (Lahore), Shafqat Mahmood (Lahore), Mahmoodur Rasheed (Lahore)
Now tell me how many Pashtuns PTI had in 2013 let alone Pashtun reps from KPK? Heck PTI didn’t even bother properly campaigning in KPK but PTI still got the votes. Pashtuns don’t vote on ethnicity, they had given everyone a chance.
PPP was bad, it proved to be much worse for Sindh than anyone else. They at least choked everyone equally including their own backyard Karachi. But thankfully PPP no longer rules Pakistan and will never rule again.
But these Ganjas and their gang is playing revenge politics at the expense of inter-provisional harmony. Lahore gets the approval for Orange Line within a day even though the route endangers the heritage sites. In KPK, Kh. Saad dragged the government for 2 years yet didn’t give them land for mass transit. Is this fair?

Do you even have a clue of what you are talking about? Why did From Pindi to Multan people voted for PMLN ? My paternal hometown of Gujranwala has been transformed, my maternal hometown of Sialkot has transformed, travel on GT road from Pindi to Multan and see the transformation. So Really Screw You! and you should go get your head checked. At least Showbaaz deliver and kindly let people decide if he is CM of Lahore or Punjab! In last test, People of Punjab thought enough good of Showbaaz.
