vaise, yeh sab udhaar pe ban rahaa hai yaa Punjab/Pakistan government kaa bhii koii HIssah hai? agar hai to kitne fee-sad hai? 
i think this line should be called “Red-Line” because it will send Pakistan’s budget into RED! no?

Shahbaz sharif seems more like the Mayor of Lahore rather than the Chief Minister of Punjab, because he’s spending all the funds on developing Lahore, similarly Nawaz seems more like the Chief Minister of Punjab rather than the Prime Minister of Pakistan because he’s too busy developing Punjab at the cost of the other provinces.
There were plans that a Japanese company would help finance the construction of metro train system in Karachi a few months back but haven’t heard of anything since then and there were also plans by KPK’s gov of building a skytrain system in Peshawar but it seems like those projects won’t materialize because of all the red tapes and the lack of funds.

I have been mourning the wrong priorities of the Sharifs from day one. A city which does not have access to clean drinking water and whose hospitals cannot provide even some most basic healthcare facilities is going to have another top-rated traveling facilities. Only an insane person can deny the importance of infrastructure, but it should happen only after making sure that the residents of the city are drinking clean water and its hospitals can look after patients they get on daily basis.

^^^ Lets not look at glass half empty. Pakistan needs infrastructure and voters have elected shareefs brothers. They are doing tangible and visible things and looking at next elections. Tell Tsunami to do same thing in Peshawar QAS to do in Karachi. Who is stopping them?

the other governments are dependent on funds from the federal government(run by Punjab); perhaps if Nawaz was more proactive, he could develop Karachi,Gwadar,FATA,interior Sindh and Baluchistan; Punjab already has more than their fair share.

i think it will use the power from the third rail and not from the overhead wires, like we have it in Toronto. overhead wires require a much higher voltage [25000 volts of current, like in India] while the third rail current source runs at 5000 watts...it'll have multiple units with power connections.
