BTW, I said “majority” of revenue. Be it 70% “or less”.
I don’t want to get bogged down in that debate. Just one thing. If you talk of GDP then don’t just compare provinces but also compare cities. If Sindh generates 30% of GDP and Karachi generates 25% of that, then it is 1/4 of the total Pakistan GDP.
Such a city does not deserve illegal insects to solve its transport problems. It deserves better. And prejudice oozes out of those who support to spend money on solving smaller problems of other smaller cities.
