jain mandir has been demolished by the way.......after the babri masjid demolition.......it houses local govt office now.

There’s Dyal Sing College and some hospitals too (gulab devi hospital), you can find hindu sounding names of buildings and areas but no hindus or sikhs…The only sikhs/hindus that I used to see was during the flag lowering ceremony in Wagha… :slight_smile:

you can only see some sikhs during besakhi (who come from India) as well as there’s one shopping center (I think its City center in Lahore Boulevard where you can see sikhs, the first time I saw them there (and thats only a few years back) I was like :hayaa:. Because I have never lived, studied and worked with Pakistani Punjabi Hindus or sikhs.

Yes I thought so but was not sure, the stop is still called Jain mandir stop.

Let me check, if there is any mandir near Guru Mandir in Karachi :)

^ I think it would be there because there are hindus in Karachi, but very negligible (if any) in Lahore...

In Indian punjab, there is only one tehsil, MalerKotla, in sangrur district which is muslim majority, I never studied with any punjabi muslim before my masters:)

what is the status of the site of famous, DAV school lahore:)

Yes there are many Hindus and Hindu temples in Karachi, but there are many incidents where temples and other important places related to Hindus lost their identity.. The biggest example is Aram Bagh, which was Ram Bagh before partition.

^ thanks bro, I have seen Islamia College and Govt Muslim High School 2 Civil lines which is on the premises where DAV school used to be, I have seen that…no wonder why I had not heard about DAV school…

My great grandfather and my grandfather studied in this school:)
Bhagat Singh was classmate of by great grand father :)

Now DAV School Lahore is in sector-8 Chandigarh:D

I am talking about, gujrat of punjab state of pakistan, I had relatives from as far as pashtoon areas, now everyone shifted to this side of border though:)

Gujju community "Seth log" generally open shop and will loot in the smart way:)
