tell us something about the traditional food of Lahore. Whether still people like Androon e Shehr or they are leaving that rich culture to adopt western lifestyle? We all know, Posh areas like Defence, chahe Karachi k ho chahe Lahore k, they do not represent the city.

What is Das Kulcha, I saw in androne shehr, when we wend for buying Moti choor ke laddoo I forget the name of Darwaza (may be Mochi Darwaza) of which these laddoos are famous.

Is it true that pure Lahoris pronounce 'Re' as 'Rhe /d'.. like Pooriyan as Poodiyan?

Lahore has changed alot - I was there last month after some 15 years and bhoy o bhoy , they have gone through some major shift ...
I like the way they built that canal yoke !

we pronounce it with rray (the 15th alphabet of urdu).

I think there are many sites in Lahore which refer to its old inhabitants including Dayal Singh librray :)
