Its Awsome! Just like any yuropean highway.
Except it lacks yuropean drivers. Truck drivers just stop their truck in the middle and go to sleep underneath it. Tullas consider the highway their own personal jaidaad. Insane kids on the banks of the highway throw rocks at moving traffic. Now u cant avoid 'em, all u can do is get hit or make an accident steering to avoid it.
The solution to that is building high enough blockades alongside the road. Its done here at many roads of yurp.
They need to put fencing up on the bridges
to keep the little rascals from goin' vandal.
That road is nice is it new? Are there many
holes and cracks on the roads in Pakland?
waah kia yaad kerwa deya,or Gizzy yay free way isi hi terha khali miltay hain, kam log nazer atay hain,or yay tulla bila wajha yaha kisi ko tung nahi kerta, sirf koe wajha hou tou roukta hay, lakin free bohut hi shaandaar banay hoeay hain, sirf free way pay jaaa ker hamain lagta thaa k hum america main travell ker rahay hain.
I got stopped once by a tulla - think it was around 2 years ago. Now whenever I go on the Motorway, I am always above the speed limit…usually at around 150 - sometimes 160 but only for a short while before I chicken out…
Anyway, theyve never stopped me for speeding believe it or not. I got pulled over for passing a truck on the bridge. They were hiding on the escape road that runs next to the bridge and as soon as they saw me moving to pass the truck - they came up behind me with the sirens and asked me to stop. He's like youre not allowed to pass on the bridge - didnt you see the sign? And truthfully I didnt see the sign at all even though I understood it was probably illegal. So this guy offers to drive me back and show me the sign before writing me a ticket! I was trying to talk my way out of it but this guy refused to budge. He was really polite but he still wrote me a ticket. Killing you with kindness
I had to pay 300 Rupees though which is not bad considering they can charge you up to 4000 bucks from what I hear.
Anyway, the road is terrific - although the area near the salt range is always due for repair. And the cops are competent - very polite - and they know their laws.
Its beginning to pick up - but the reason why a lot of folks dont use the M2 is because someone had the bright idea to recarpet GT Road a few years back - and now GT Road is much better than it was before so people being cheap like most of us are - would rather pay 10 bucks of P-Tax rather than the 150 on the M2..or is it 200 again?:
about 5 years back i was in pakistan and i travelled from lahore to islamabad through the motorway...it was really a very comfortable journey but the only thing uncomfortable was that the bus in which i was travelling was showing a paki movie with javed shiekh n neeli.....
