I think it was specifically targetting the Ahmadiyya community. If terrorist were after killing people then there were many more mosques with many more people…why Ahmadiyya Mosque only?

^^ Oh bhai, i think you have missed the current way of terrorism then, if yes, please check the news archives of any credible Pakistani website.. every day there is a new kind of terrorist act, be it a mosque of Muslims, or prayer-place of Ahmadies... Pakistan is under-attack, they attack whatever they want to attack.... no school, university, hospital or public place is safe from them, there is no govt in Pakistan.. that is the reason we had this attack yesterday...
this is just another terrorist attack trying to create more unrest in Pakistan. plus an attempt to ignite muslim/ qadiani riots... they have been killing everyone in pakistan.
their friends in karachi (taleban bhaies) have been trying to do this between shia/sunni, pukhtoon/hazara and their other friends in other parts of the country between deobandi/ barelvi, muslim/ christian and this is just another try to ignite war between muslim/ qadiani. and paint a bad picture of Pakistan, nothing more...

it might be connected to the khalid khwaja incident or even someone maybe taking advantage of that incident to make it seem plausible. for example when zaid hamid talked about taking a gun to the head of the loser of the debate he was to have with khatm-e-nabuwat, someone killed the scholars of that organisation within a few days. in these circumstances its a free for all
my best advice to the ahmadiyya community would be to stay well clear of making political statements or taking on political missions on behalf of foreign powers. although it may seem like a good time to push your own agenda, its actually a mirage. youve nothing to gain up this road. stay neutral, standstill and you'll be alright

As hanibal said, there has been atleast a dozen attacks on mosques alone and probably more than hundred other attacks on non Ahmadis. These animals target EVERYONE, no one is their friend. Don't forget that they have targetted OTHER mosques with many more people quite a few times already.

to be fair all sides on the pakistani side of the durrand line attack mosques. when it happens in fata, they are called madrassas and all is forgiven. and in this guise more then a mere dozen mosques have been attacked.
but like the saying goes, people take bias with them even in tradegy. and thats why fata mosques are not counted. i assume this is where justification for attacking mosques is claimed from by the fata'ans and those inspired by them
if its not obvious to you all, you need to seriously reconsider your desire to subjugate the tribal pashtuns of af/pak. stay well clear of any such attempt, they'll sunjugate you back, and we all know it. its time for pakistanis to finally accept that they have an equal, independent power on our western border

ttpp- just offensive, absolute carnage simply to capture pakistan
i could say i agree with you, but pakistan is on the road to pure anarchy on the back of sentiments similar to yours. time for pakistanis to stand up to stop this bloodshed. only way to do this is to accept the tribals as equals, and let them be!

ttp punjab is just a new name/umbrella for groups that predate your defensive team. their rhetoric, nor their actions are new. mask it in updated language, all the better for us to see who their brothers are.

Indeed no doubt there has been attacks every where...
however this particular attack was targetting Ahmadies and well coordinated...Especially when Khatm e Nabbuwat conferences openly say in their speeches to kill Ahmadies....could these terrorists not be influenced by them? And Panjab government is sponsoring such conferences?
Also remember there were two attacks simultaneously...not one...shouldn't this ring a bell.

the problem with fighting it all out is that it'll be such a long windy road, we have no guarantees to who'll come out. so we must re-evaluate whether the initial cause to subjugate the tribals is worth it.
well, i'll tell ya that its not worth it. it wasnt even worth it after the first casualty of this war, nevermined the anarchy which has taken over pakistan and continues to grow

They are targeting all those people who are raising voice against terrorist attacks and calling them a haram act.......we already saw attack in lahore mosque(forgot the name...where imam got killed who was known for raising voice against these terror activities) a few months back and then lane parade mosque in Rawalpindi...so it does not have much to do with ahmadis

im under no illusions that it is an easy fight, particularly given the cowards we fight focus on attacking innocent men women and children. that is the extent of their capabilities. it was never an easy fight to subdue Lashkar e Jhangvi type tanzimain either. but the state doesnt abdicate it's basic responsibilities.

I dont think its a an attack on a certain sect, its not about a sect anyore. If it was then how would you explain the attack on 10th muhharam? and many more other...this is a usual thing for pakistan. All these years of growth of jahilana thinking in the pakistani people is finally showing its acts. Terrorists are attacking anything or anyone. Lets all think of this is an attack on islam/pakistan/humanity rather than a sect. These attacks are against preaching or fundaments of all that i have named.

Its sad when innocent people die, but this war has been imposed on our country by international islamist terrorists who have taken refuge in our tribal areas, and from there they want to wage jihad against everyone in the world. These are terrorists and only good terrorist in dead one. I hope army moves in to close the border and cleans up this cesspool.
