anyways, if anything people should protest against the family members who took money for the lives of their kids.
Nobody wants to react on this issue, govt is in hiding, opposition is missing and army is quite as well. Punjab govt can try but cant distance itself from this case.
Its going good for nawaz sharif, he wanted zardari to take this tough decision so he wouldnt have to take it. now nawaz will plan to ride on this anti-govt wave all the way to the parliament.

Khan should update his understanding of Pakistani law. What happened here was perfectly legal under Pakistani law. Mullahs who want to exploit this for political reasons should know this was done according to Islamic law/Sharia law. What else do these people want?
He better ask his zaliman friends what the hell they were busy with RD.

But Nawaz & Shahbaz repute is damaging day by day and ppl think they are also like zardari. Now Bcoz of PTI they vote bank will be badly effected.
Some years back no one says any bad words abt these brothers but now their own voters abusing them.

the sharif brothers are cutting their own feet for the past couple of months, and now they dont have any credibility left! they have lost the popularity so much so that they have forgotten about the mid term elections, as if they hold a mid term election now they will suffer record defeats even in punjab...

PPP, PMLN, MQM and the ANP were all on board in this deal. One of PPP's janwars/jiyalaz Raja Riaz was issuing statements on a daily basis against the PML[N] in Punjab, on trivial matters, but kept his mouth shut all day today which clearly proves the Govt signed a deal and had everyone in the parliament in confidence along with the top brass of the military.
The only two parties that arent sold out are the PTI and the JI, its obvious.
Ane we expect these political parties to bring us democracy?

Political mileage. I think the biggest issue would be whether the family has been pessurized into accepting the money. Other than that there is nothing to debate and discuss.

^^^ That's irrelevant. Families singed off on the deal and its legal according to Pakistan law. Under Pakistani law, victims family have last say, and it seems they got money and American visas and are happily shopping at the Walmart. Case closed.

Ane we expect these political parties to bring us democracy?
They can certainly bring us democracy, provided it is democracy and not just a crook appointing himself as the president. Furthermore, no matter how badly the PPP handled the Davis issue, it was still better than a dictator that would just hand him back no questions asked.

well when musharraf threw him out they could play innocents, but now they are exposing themselves each day plus the media now is independent at that time it was only ptv so it was easy to hide things

It probably is true that Shahbaz, ISI and army were involved in the release, why? Because it was exactly these guys who held Raymond Davis in custody for this long otherwise Rahman Malik, Zardari Bhutto, Fauzia Wahab were drooling to release him immediately.

well bro its indeed a shame but whenever anyone kidnaps the male and female of victim's families and threat to do something wrong with the females of those families if demands were not accepted then everyone specially the poor ones think to save their honor and make a deal. so, this is the responsibility and corruption on the part of PML-N AND PPP's corrupt governments.

the release has been a win win situation for all,
Americans have got their man, ISI chief has got his extension, Zardari has got his tour of USA, and army has got the invitation for the US, Pak and Afghanistan talks (might be Pakistani army wont go there for the time being for fooling the nation once again) and the government will get their lifeline (American aid)...

Imran is not talking about 'murder' but espionage.
If espionage is the issue then deporting spies is fairly standard procedure. You may be aware of the Russian spies who had successfully infiltrated the US for years who were sent back to Russia.
