What difference does the issue of mehram vs. na-mehram make anyway? Most Pakistanis don't obey the na-mehram rules in such an orthodox way anyway, so it should be the last reason you'd avoid adoption.

Unless the family is strict Muslim that follows every single rule of na-mehram...its just hypocritical.

I quite agree!!....just as well my friend and her husband are not strict in that sense as he just loves the bones of both his adoptive children,and wouldn't give a toss what anyone says.As far as he is concerned they are his.End of.
