There is difference of opinion among the scholars, some say a man can remarry without his first wife's permission and some say he can't. So if my husband asks my permission then I'd allow him in particular circumstances, for example, if he's marrying a widow or divorcee(with children) and he has enough money to give us both a good lifystyle.
I wouldn't want him to have children with second wife because I've seen so many times that it just doen't work out between step-siblings, and also I'd want him to concentrate on children that he already have.
So,you would 'give' him permission in 'particular circumstances'...but you would not like him to have children with his second wife.
Well,what if she wants wants them....isn't it natural for a woman to want to have her husbands children?...what if the 'widow' or 'divorcee' does not have kids of her own.Isn't that like placing a condition on the relationship?
A man does not ** **have to have more than one wife....if she is unbearable then just leave her...otherwise have a fulfilling life with the one wife.
Lord...what is it with men and 'more than one wife'....
