There is difference of opinion among the scholars, some say a man can remarry without his first wife's permission and some say he can't. So if my husband asks my permission then I'd allow him in particular circumstances, for example, if he's marrying a widow or divorcee(with children) and he has enough money to give us both a good lifystyle.
I wouldn't want him to have children with second wife because I've seen so many times that it just doen't work out between step-siblings, and also I'd want him to concentrate on children that he already have.
