Its just not that easy that he can take a second wife. There are preconditions and conditionalities attached to it. The one that is important is that he has to treat the two of them equally in every aspect. Which is phyiscally impossible.
The issue of a second or third wife is allowed in such a narrow field of what is acceptable that only 0.0000000000001% of men could actually fulfill the requirements.
I would highly suggest you women learn more about Islam before bringing it up in discussions which will lead to disinformation.
