My guy was comfortable right from the start - he is what he is and he makes no bones about it. Flatulence is an amusing thing - as long as its him flatulating. Because rule number one in our marriage is that girls dont fart and girls dont poop. Even if it appears to happen, its the dog. Or the cat. Or one of the boyz. Or perhaps even an auditory anomaly.
Ask my hubby. Or any of my 3 boys "whats rule number one?" and each of them will tell you the same thing...."girls dont fart and they dont poop."

PM , I am thinking , we have never heard a couple seeking divorce because the husband had a “little smelly slip” …so i guess it should be ok to have an occasional slip
