id never have Pak as an option for a baby, they just prefer to give you a c section, as it’s easier than spending 20 hours with you in labour trying other methods…a c section is major major surgery and really should be used in case of an emergency…women have been giving birth naturally for centuries without things like the epidural etc, our bodies are designed to give birth and trust me you do not die in pain…yes if you feel you need it there is nothing wrong in asking for it and the docs do not refuse you, but they will always use it as a last resort as there are many side effects linked to the epi , risk of high level tearing etc…and UK midwives are really good…dont believe all the horror stories…good luck!
