Do sunni bros send lanat (curse) on any one ? e.g Yazid, Firown, Shaitaan ? or is it not allowed to send lanat in ahley sunnat ?

And you also know that this discussion is going to lead towards sunnis calling the Tabra act lame and Ahl-e-Tasahee Justifying the curse by quoting the ayat of surah-e-lahaB ..

People have been debating on these issues from last 1400 years and nothing have been achieved so far ... nor will ...

No i wasnt gonna quote Ayat from Surah-e-lahab.....

I am under impression that you guys dont but thats just an assumption. Just wanted to make sure rather than assuming. Sometimes its for the sake of knowing.

I am a shia - but not in taqleed nor I agree with everything been said and done by Ashna-e-Ashar'ee shias , so now does it make me one of yours or one of them :)

See Brother, you are making joke of the thread here, it was general question for sunni bros so lets just wait for some sunni brother to answer it so i can be sure about my assumption.

I will only assume u r sunni if u r replying for them, rite ?
BTW, that almost makes it two of us, coz i am in Taqleed but I dont agree with everything said or done by Ashna-e-Ashr'ee Shias.

wht is more important is to check first if there is any shaitaan inside own self before sending lanat away on others......or the person will be curing him/herself.....

And the Shaitan shall say after the affair is decided: ......and I had no authority over you, except that I called you and you obeyed me, therefore do not blame me but blame yourselves:.....(Ibrahim:22)

Shia kehtey hein aaj tak kabhi sunnion ko ahl-e-bait par matam kartey aur burey logon ko curse kartey nahin dekha. Sunni kehtey hein ke aaj tak koi shia mukammal hafiz-e-Quran nahin dekha..........so on....

Aaj agar Hazrat Ali (k.w) aur Hazrat Umar (r.a) zinda hotey, to dono'n mil kar aaj kal key sunnio'n aur shiao'n ki khoob pitai kartey.

p.s. I am also included in one of the two groups, meri bhi pitai hoti. Am not in any third party.

^actually saray bachay, jo bhi Quran ki tilawat kartay hein, Allah khud on say zalimeen par lanat bhijwata hay.....aap kay ilm mein hay yeh baat?
lanat kay maenay "gaali" nahee hotay, sarkar........aap iskay sahi maenay daryaft farmaeyeh!
Yeh Hazoor SAWW ki sunnat mein say hay........Sahi Bukhari mein aap yeh pachas jagan say ziyada jagan paen gay.....
aur achay bachay soch-samajh kar, ghor-o-fikr kar kay lanat bhejtay hein......ganday bachon par!

The Prophet said, "Medina is a sanctuary from that place to that. Its trees should not be cut and no heresy should be innovated nor any sin should be committed in it, and whoever innovates in it an heresy or commits sins (bad deeds), then he will incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people."

..The Prophet said, "O Allah! curse Shaiba bin Rabi'a and 'Utba bin Rabi'a and Umaiya bin Khalaf as they turned us out of our land to the land of epidemics."..

"The Prophet forbade the acceptance of the price of a dog or blood, and also forbade the profession of tattooing, getting tattooed and receiving or giving Riba, (usury), and cursed the picture-makers."

Allah's Apostle said, "May Allah curse the Jews, because Allah made fat illegal for them but they sold it and ate its price. "

QURAN: 4:93 If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him.

QURAN: 2:88] They say, "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word: we need no more)." Nay, Allah's curse is on them for their blasphemy: Little is it they believe.

QURAN: 2:89] And when there comes to them a Book from Allah, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognised, they refuse to believe in it but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith.

QURAN: 2:159] Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,-

ASKING ALLAH TO CURSE IS SUNNAH OF PROPHETS

QURAN: 9:68] "Our Lord! Give them double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!"

ALLAH AUTHORIZED AHLEBAYT TO INVOKE CURSE OF ALLAH ON LIARS

QURAN: 3:61] If any one disputes in this matter with thee, now after (full) knowledge Hath come to thee, say: "Come! let us gather together,- our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: Then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!"
