DO you have small kids Gemini? .... If you have young kids then I recommend SeaWorld as they may not be qualified for many of the rides/attractions in Universal. When we went, our daughter was not even one and wife and I had to take turns to go on the rides and it was not fun. In Seaworld, you dont have to worry about that.
One way you can do is to cancel your one night booking at the hotel in LA, start driving towards Seaworld right after you came out of Disney and stay in Carlsbad area that night. Morning, do Seaworld and drive back to LA that night.
no kids at all but my husband and I love everything children.. out of all the places we have ever been to Disney world is our favorite so i feel like we belong to sea world.. Disney land closes at 9:00 I think and I know we will be there from 10-9 :D
well I wonder if we can do Disney land the day we arrive at 12;00 and then do the next two days at universal and sea world.. skip the beaches and wondering around all together... time to re think the plans!
its minimum 45 mins drive from LAX to Disney excluding the time it takes to rent a car .. so if you think that 6 hours (assuming that you may reach Disney by 3:00 PM) is good, go for it.
If you have been to disneyworld in Florida , you can certainly skip Disneyland here and just do universal studios. since you have no kids with you, the two of you will enjoy it.
From the info you gave, I'm assuming you are staying at a hotel near LAX. From there San Diego is about 130+ miles. That's a good 3 hr drive in normal traffic. You will be driving on 405 freeway for a while which passes thru major metropolis area in orange county. 405 is infamously known as worlds largest parking lot. So you will driving 6 hrs at least to n from your hotel to San Diego .
The rest of the time you'll spend sightseeing in SD.
one full day at universal studios, leave late night for SD thus avoiding the traffic. Spend next morning /day in San Diego , sea world or the zoo, arrive back that evening to your hotel, recuperate. You still have 1 more day for Santa Monica . I do not recommend skipping Santa Monica pier/ 3rd st promenade.
Unless you fancy watching bikinis and thongs, it doesn't really make a difference if a desi visits LAs beaches in November or July.
Weather around LA in nov/dec is very mild. Lots of sunshine in daytime. 70s to 80s Fahrenheit . Bring a jacket for the evening, it gets a bit chilly at night. But certainly no gloves or hats or overcoats, that you are accustomed to wearing in east coast.
we can't skip Disney Land.. thats the whole point behind going to LA so yes can't skip it but we can probably do the first half day there, universal studios the next day and then probably santa monica/manhattan in the evening.. drive to SD around 2:00 or 3:00 in the mroning (is it a good time to avoid traffic?) spend the day at the sea world.. not sure about zoo yet and then drive back because our flight back is from LAX the next morning!
We can squeeze this all in only if we dun get traffic anywhere at all!!!
Well squeezing Disneyland, universal studios, San Diego and beaches in 2.5 days and enjoy it as well is pushing the boundaries, so to speak, with or w/o traffic.
Anytime after 10pm is a good time to drive on socal freeways, very little traffic.
I dunno if we will do everything or not but at least there is enough to do.. we can always go back to LA for more fun :)
Have fun.. do share pics!
SID.. there isn't much on the east coast once the fall starts except the foliage.. most of the parks/out door activities will be closed except skiing so you should definitely plan a visit outside this area.. in fact last year we went to Orlando in October and it was the perfect time..it wasn't crazy tourist time so we enjoyed everything!

so i m really confused... what should we do ??... kindly help us to decide
farahsha... why do you need a sponsor requirement for visit visa? If you are coming for honeymoon and show strong ties back home which will guarantee your return, it shouldn't be an issue!
and why would you even want togo to Ohio for honeymoon? stick to LA but if you want to visit family, do so :-)
We will be going to LA in couple of weeks so I will update later!
