KuRi aur KuRa

Its normal when you try to speak a new language, you make mistakes.

We say LaRka / LaRki in Urdu, so someone who was trying to speak Punjabi said ‘KuRi nu KuRa le gaya si’

share some mistakes made by you or others like this.

When I was learning Spanish I always and still make this mistake

Ok so in Spanish señora means older lady and señorita means young girl,I used to call my old neighbor senorita , the first time I called her excuse me señorita, she looked left n right and asked who I’m talking to? I said you. Then she laughed. Lol

I mixed Urdu+punjabi+ Sindhi+ siraki+

Oh the famous one
Tussi sunao Kia hal daso? ( app sunao Kia haal hain? )

Thats not mistake. she should have taken that as compliment

Lol, she knew I was learning,
When i used to ask my spanish friends some translations they would tell me a completely different translation just for the fun

Urdu was the first language I spoke so never made any mistake in Urdu.

What else do you use in place of them?

Among all the places i have lived , below is the list i have heard people using for Boy and girl.

Ladka and Ladki
Turra and Turri
Chokra and Chokri
Laadi and Laada
Bai and Babu
Doki and Doka
Laundi and Launda

I think Delhiwala also refer Dulha as Banna.. as the famous shadi song is: Achhe Banne mehndi lawan de,Haryale Banne mehndi lawan de

there was a tea stall where i used to have tea…

to suggest high milk contain of tea they named there tea Punjab…so every one used to ask for 2,3 punjab…

but my friend who was not regular there…asked for two punjabi…

BTW toora and toori common in chhatisgarh
