**Partition **Synopsis :: Determined to leave the ravages of war behind, 38 year old Gian Singh (Jimi Mistry) resigns from the British Indian Army to a quiet life. His world is soon thrown in turmoil, when he suddenly finds himself responsible for the life of a 17 year old girl, traumatized by the events that separated her from her family. Watch the trailer below and share your thoughts. Do you think **Kristin Kruek **has the looks and the acting chops to pull off a Muslim Pakistani girl? Do you believe **Kristin **and Neve’s accents?
its alwasy the paki/muslim girl that has to convert to sikhism/hinduism...i liked veer zaara.but in the very end of the credits..when prieity was praying to some idol...that teeed me off....
Intriguing plot line. I think the reason Kristin is wearing bindi is to pass as a sikh or hindu? Otherwise she might be killed or something... Kristin Kreuk looks beautiful and credible as a Pakistani girl. She is a perfect cast, convincing and a very talented actress. Hopefully the story and message is simple i.e story of two people rather than politics, and other social and religious related issues. I hope its not a preching liberal movie, otherwise it'll flop big time and nobody will appreciate it.
These days Directors make the biggest mistake to lecture the audience during a love stroy, just look at Dahek, what a flop. If they just had stuck to a couple that is in love, it might have done well. Even tough Akshey Khanna suck big time. The key is to stick with the topic, let's see what Hollywood does with this subject. If they go preching, it will be controversial and won't fulfill its purpose as a movie and in the Box Office.
The white ancesteral homeland is in the Central Caucus mountains and hence the word, Caucausian.
From there, the Caucausians, split into 2 groups
1 group went and settled in Europe and the other group settled in what is now Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia and Pakistan
And contrary to popular belief,
Its the Romans, Greeks, Carthage and their subsequent take over which brought European blood in northern middle east such as Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, etc...
