I find that disturbing and I hope women always realize their worth and never settle for a man to treat them like that. I will say that I have seen a few desi couples that are bound together because of children and the husband has side affairs, the group kinda knows about it but everyone just looks the other way because the wife is too scared of a divorce to speak up for herself. So everyone just sees her and says poor thing and gossips here and there. It's a shame that women from older generations were so scared of the stigma of being a divorced lady that they put up with such nonsense but to think young couples are also accepting this is just unheard of.
