Noble sentiments, but they seem to have come after Pakistan has lost. Frankly, I know exactly how much chest beating there would have been (and allowed) had India lost. I am not blaming the mods or members at all - it's human to feel happy when your team wins.

Karina, I don't know how or why you misread my comments. I feel I must clarify my comments because you completely missed my point.

My comments were meant almost exclusively for Pakistani fans from a fellow Pakistani fan regarding the Pakistani team. I didn't mean any of the above for Indian fans or the Indian players or the team. I'm bothered when Pak fans tell other Pak fans how they were wrong because a Pakistani player they picked to do well or poorly does the opposite. As I said earlier, there is a fantasy thread for this exact purpose - taking a guess which individual player is going to do well or not. I hope that makes more sense?

The point you raise is entirely different and relates to the one that Sehar made about the victorious fans rubbing the win into the losing fans' face. As you and Faisal bhai said, it is only human nature and I don't have a problem with that as long as it does not contravene the rules.

In retrospect, I read my post again and I can see why you would draw the conclusions that you did draw. But as I explained, my point was that some fans tend to go a bit overboard when the player they picked to do well does well and vice versa.

Well you're obviously entitled to your point of view as far as the gloating banter etc is concerned.

With respect to your second point, perhaps they do so because they feel that they have a valid and somewhat different point to make? Either way, it's the mods' call in the end, isn't it?

bhai, who said anything about the mods, I'm not telling them how to do their jobs. You raised an opinion that predicting this or that was not your cup of tea and that's ok with me but I happen to disagree. I very much value people's opinions which aren't based on hindsight and love to hear genuine views and a bit of banter adds to the enjoyment for me. In comparison I would say that when there is already a thread open about Pakistan's lack of support in the test matches, a thread called something along the lines of 'growing indifference of Pak supporters' doesn't really merit a seperate thread at all as it deals with the exact same topic. It's just my viewpoint and like I said, I feel a very valid one if we are talking about what we feel enhances or detracts from the forum.
