My 15mo sort of opens her mouth as if she is going to bite you, but just sort of lands on your face. We're pretty sure that's her attempt at kissing. She does, at other times, make kissing sounds, but not when she's actually giving a kiss.

thanks, o mine is 15 months too. i have tried so much to get her to kiss. so finally i get her to do the puckering up bit, and then the monster goes.. thooooo thooooo thooooo... and enjoys the spit projectile action so much, thats all she did for the next 10 mins or so.. certain people weren't too pleased. :\
