i never kissed my kid on the lips… just never occurred to me to do it… but i WILL say that he did demand i kiss him on the lips after seeing his daddy do it :cb: that taught us 2 things. a) midget was not a baby anymore and b) to get a room. :smiley:

I will kiss my baby on the lips, hell i've kissed nieces/nephews/friends babies on the lips whats wrong with that?

Edit: I would not kiss any child that is not mine on the lips after 3 years old, I would stop kissing my own child around 5/6, just stick to cheek kissing after that.

babies don't seem too keen on kisses or hugs, from what i have seen. :\

I kiss my nieces and nephews on the lips. Its just a gesture to show affection like many other gestures. I stopped with one when he was almost three.

I think its an ewww thing. I have never done it with my daughter. BUt like khawa said, she demanded her daddy and i kiss her on the lips after she saw it somewhere, either on tv or ahem ahem at home. So we told her that its not nice to kiss on the lips and cheeks and forehead are just fine.

I dont see why one wants to kiss a baby on the lips only to stop when he/she is older, like why do it in first place then?

I dont kiss my nephews on the lips. For me that is something among spouses.

I love kissing my nephews anywhere on tehir face esp when I put on any dark lipstick. :D

I kiss my daughter on lips all the time. She is 23 months. she just walks up to my and her daddy and just gives us both a kiss on lips.. :)

no, nearly never... my sis kissed my son sometimes on his lips, when he was a baby & younger. ab wo 5,5 saal ka hai, and she stoped...

though hubby & me, we hated it, but little sisters never listen!

when they are babies - until they were 2 or something.

Rub noses together and peck on the lips - not a big deal.

ewww, i can't even imagine kissing kids on lips.. I dont kiss lil babies on their lips anyway...
but can't say i might do that in future when i have my own children InshAllah.

If it's some stranger kid then i wont.. don't wanna offend their folks. But I love kissing babies on the lips.. my nephew/neices don't like it a bit but you just cant resist.
