Oh come on? The mother had herpes and they could not even establish whether the baby died from a kiss or from breastfeeding. Obviously you should not kiss anyone if you have a cold sore.

exactly ...

though mine are 8 and 4 and I still do that. Older one starts her ewww ewww with me when I do that so I do it more to bug her ..

and its not a kiss kiss guys, its a peck as Nj said.

so where would you guys draw the line if you do kiss on the lips.... especially betweeen fathers and daughters and mothers and sons. how old is old enough?

When kids start saying "ewwwwww", its about time to stop :)

whenever I peck my 5 years old daughter's lips, she loudly revise the lesson taught by her mom

"only mama and baba can kiss me on the lips" :D

I used to peck my nieces and nephews on the lips - harmless as far I was concerned when they were younger. But once they turned two-ish we stopped.

With the youngest niece, when she would meet other kids she would want to kiss them on the lips. So then we instituted a “no lippy kiss” rule so now she’s not allowed to kiss anyone on the lips and makes sure to turn her face so you can only kiss her cheek, forehead, nose, chin - anything but her lips :kiss:

I never kiss anyone else’s kids on their lips, just my own. My kids love it and what the heck…It’s not like you derive some sort of wicked pleasure for god’s sake. :smack:

I dont have any kids but its totally wrong kissin them on their lips cus if you do that they will learn it n kiss others on the lips too..

not toddler.. usually they are in the mid 20s..

Ya I saw a kid like that when I was in Spain this summer. He wasnt even a toddler, he was at least 3 or 4 yrs old. He was running up to women and trying to hold their heads and kiss them on the lips! Dont know where his parents were!

O darn it guys, just grow up .. I peck my daughters and ves peck my friends daughter who is 1. That girl is my jiggar and if my friend ever let me, I will adopt her in a blink. Niks knows whom I am talking about.

i usually kiss my kids on cheeks but sometimes on lips too, nothing wrong with it.
