But the Pakistani kids in the West aren’t isolated from their American peers. Just saying that a lot of American rubs off on them too, and sometimes it’s in direct conflict with what they’re being taught at home.
Now either the parents know this’d happen and they have plan to minimize the damage or they don’t know about it or are too busy work, assimilation etc.

I can not speak for everyone but none of the pakistani kids I know who were raised here are like that. They’re all good, ghareloo kids. And I know this because I grew up with them and we never did anything to make our parents loose trust in us.
My daughter will be going to school in a couple of years and I am not afraid of sending her to public schools at all. It all comes down to how you raise your kids.
