Me: Ami, what qualities in me attracted you that convinced you to pick me out of all the (thousands of) other babies, when you went to buy a baby from the hospital

Mom: Slient

Me: Ami, what was my price, was I more expensive than the other babies

Ami: 100 rupees

Me: Amazed and very much impressed from myself Ami you still wanted to buy me even though you knew I was very expensive. there must be something very good in me that convinced ami to pay such a high price for me....thinking

I so wana go home ..i miss my lil sisters ..i already miss my lil sis growing up ..and last time i went home and my lil sis was a year and cos i wasnt around to see her everyday … everytime i d pick her up shed just say ..ammmmmi tellll him …go away .., and now shes gona turn 3 in july ..

Now, I really feel ashamed that I used to think like that. With time I have realized my worth, which is least in the universe.

I can swear that if Allah (swt) starts critically analysing people on the day of judgement only on the basis of their deeds, I would be the first person to go to hell. Till now I have been able to carry on my life only with the hope that Allah may forgive my past and grant me jannah only on the basis of HIS mercyy.

Need prayers of pious muslims like you all, I am sure Allah (swt) loves you all so much that Allah won’t reject your prayers for me..

I wish I were not born, or were a non livingthing so that I didn’t have to face Allah (swt) on the day of judgement..

Allah is Purest and the Greatest of all!!!

I am full of all the impurities of the world, which doesnt deserve a pure place like jannah till the impurities are either washed by fire or by Allah’s mercy

Actually I would say thats pretty normal especially for a girl:)...mine used to think the note counter machine at the bank was actually a money making machine....if only !!!!

Something else kids are fascinated with is how OLD are you?

On MY birthday, I told my son that I was 21.

Next day, when I went to his school to pick him up from kindergarten, EVERYONE - from principal to teachers to aides - wished me a happy "21st" birthday!!!

Oh children think money grows on trees ... so be prepared they will ask for expensive toys. :(

But there is a way out, as soon as they old enough start them on pocket money and whatever they want to buy should come from that. So if they want expensive toy they save up for it.

Worked wonders for my daughter. She exchanged her toy binoculars for something pretty useless with her friend and I protested but she did not listen. Few months later she asked me to buy her binoculars. I said sure you can buy from your pocket money no probs. Seeing the price and how many weeks she would have to save up for them, she promptly went to her freind and re-exchanged the gifts. I felt so good with myself :)

My niece was once crying and when my hubby and I tried to make her keep quiet she cried even louder and said that hubby should kiss me on my cheek. My mum and sisters were sitting there and gish it was embarrassing and yet soooo funny :D

OK - I found this the cuuuuutest thing my nephew has ever said to me:

I was showering him - he was 6 at the time I think and he said that he wanted to shower alone, I said NO, as we only have a shower no bath, and he would spray the water all over the place. I said "Do dua that Allah gives me a bigger batjhroom - answer to that was "No - can't do that" "Uuuh WHY?"

The reply?

"Because I'm doing dua that Allah gives you a nice little baby.....after that I'll pray for a bigger bath room for you........"

Can you get any cuter??

Couple years back my daughter wanted to know
how old I was. So she puts her hands up in the
air and asked me how many I was using her fingers. :D

Another time I had my jewelry box open and she was looking at it with me.
I told her when you get married you can have all of this. she tells me "mommy I am not getting married but I will take your jewelry.

My 15 months old has started a new habit. He would go up to the tv
and try to switch it on/off. One day my daughter was watching tv and
he kept on doing that. So after a few minutes of putting up with this she
yells "mamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, my baby brother is ruining my life". :D

I can so picture the big sister getting pissed off when he turned off her TV. :D
