Again, you are ignoring the 'bit' part. I am sure God wouldn't want us to pray or fast like robots. you can go 'a bit' differently and still be okay. Do you think if I break my fast 10 minutes after sunset I have done something wrong?

I say my prayers the 'right' way and cheat my customers 'a bit', for me that's not acceptable.

I dont know about breaking the fast example but on the belly button example, I totally agree with you

for unintentionally breaking the fast 10 minutes earlier, we can pray that Allah accepts our fast

if we do it on purpose, without a reason, than I am not sure if Allah would see it as submission cause to me it looks like a rebelliousness.

Allah is the most merciful, he will probably forgive most of our 'tooti phooti' Ibadaat but when it is determined and agreed upon to break your fast at a certain time....why be rebalious ?

The trivial matters in faith are what add up to earn little things of good.

Of course God has no need for our worship nor does it reduce anything of God if we do not do big or small things, but it should matter to us. We should strive to do as much as a little thing as perfectly as possible. Each time being conscious of that atoms weight of good.

It may not make sense to us entirely and we often get it wrong saying it does not matter to God. We should rather be telling ourselves that we have only one chance (one life) to get it right ... so at least lets try. If we try to get it right by this and that action then that is a reward, getting it right is two rewards. The ignorant is not the same as the learned and we aught to learn as much as we can push ourselves to acquire.

there are 7 schools of thought in islam today these 4 plus salafi, jafari, zaydi

:bism:

1 - The people are divide in 4 categoriesa) those who are complete mujtahid

b) those who are not complete mujtahid but they can weigh up the evidence and scholars’ opinion and thus choose the most correct one as they have the knowledge

c) those who can’t do the tarjeeh (outwieghing between evidences), it is ONLY PERMISSIBLE for them to follow the opinion of one of the mujtahid or trustworthy scholars, meaning a madhab. However, they must reject the opinion of their imam if it contradicts the Qur’an or Sunnah or they find out that opinion of their imam has not supporting evidence. This category mostly inculdes the students of knowledge

d) the laypeople who can’t do any of the above - they are obliged to ask the people of knowledge, as they Qur’an tells us, it could be your local Imam or Mufti or some Shaykh. People in this category are not allowed to read up books of ahadith or fiqh and come to some sort of conclusion.
2 - the layman has no madhab so we should stop talking about the issue of taqleed and wheter we should follow a schoar or not. We’re simply obliged to ask the trustworthy scholar/mufti for fatwa. If he happens to be a hanafi, for example, it doesn’t mean you’re also a hanafi.

3 - Taqleed - following a madhab is only permissible for people in the above described category # 3. Something doesn’t become obligatory unless it is prescirbed as such in the Qur’an or the Sunnah.

4 - The extreme positions are two: 1) Everyon SHOULD FOLLOW a madhab 2) Everyone SHOULD ABANDON a madhab. Both of them incorrect as it is taking the extreme path. The people of knowledge have relayed and convyed us, allhamdulillah.
