^^ Keep in mind that JJ left the shoot midway, and was also responsible for giving second thoughts to other ex-cast members like Ali Zafar. All the playback singers [ahmed jahanzeb specially] were chosen keeping JJ and his vocals in mind. So Shoaib has to be pissed!
well if u read director statement again .. he said tht "after" JJ choose not to sing .. then he decided which script he (SM) shud pick for the movie ....
though SM did approched JJ first .. n JJ was willing to work in the movie if Ullema give him permission .. but they made it clear that it is not permit able in Islam ... so JJ step back .... i dont think this process wud have taken this long time tht SM had appointed Ahmed Jahanzaib as play back singer
Would someone mind uploading the audio to a shared site? would much appreciate it!!
I hope we get a decent print in the US once the movie releases which I don't think they've given a date yet. My guess would be August 14th.
man I am so excited for this movie that I dont have words to describe my excitement BUT... after listening to the songsI m a lil bit scared. U c the songs are mainly love songs, I say out of the 10 songs where bandeya is repeated and there is an instrumental, Duniya, Humare and Janie seem like Love songs. Now there si nothing wrong with that, its just that I feel that the movie might focus on the love story more than the issue and I would hate to see that. Knowing Shoab Mansoor I would love to c a film where the problem is addressed to its fullest.
Newho comin back to the music, I was expecting a lot and did enjoy it but not all the songs. Janie is good, KKL love it, Bandeya phenomenal, Mahi We takes me to a dark side, there is just so much feel to that song. Trust me sit alone and listen to it and u will travel to a new dimension. Humare is OK. Did not like Dunya. AllahHoo starts well but I still havent heard the whole sog. Kamod I just dont understand but its really soothing. Instrumental I havnt heard
Btw is it possible some1 translates Bandeya in Urdu? I really dont uinderstand punjabi at all
Cant wait to watch this movie. The theme is absolutely fitting with problems we all have these days. Add that latest Lal Masjid Saga to that and there will be so much in the movie one will be able to relate too. Hope Shoaib Mansoor does not take sides but just give a fair view of things happening.
And yes I am too a bit disappointed by Director's statement.
Anyone who is interested in soundtracks, pm me their email addresses and I will email them mp3s.
The trailer is totally gripping and extremely awesome....they need to flood the airwaves with it...and possibly have an Urdu version for the trailer too so the wider public can understand what this film is about.
