My exact words were " You are implying that Quran is referring to some alien Ahlekitaab who do not exist on this planet." It doesn't mean there are some other alien ahlekitaab. I still stand behind my statement that Holy Prophet and his companions were not aware of any other Ahlekitaab at the time of revealations, and they understood Jews and and Chritians when Quran referred to Ahlekitaab.
first of all tell me point by point
1. didn't Allah use the word christens when ever he said who worship Jesus
2. didn't Allah used the word Ahley Kitab when he refers in general terms
3. didn't companions know that there are others nations beside jew or christens who were given books by Allah (do they neglect 13:38)
3. didn't Allah have said that all nations are send by books
3. didn't Prophet and companions know that Quran is for all nations or they think it is only for people of makkah and madena
i hope your answer about these question will clear yourself as well
the conclusion which you will reach is that even if they don't know exact names of nations of Ahley kitab other then jew or christens , still they know there are other nations as well who are ahley kitab so whenever ahley kitab word is used they take that in general terms and when jew or christens word was used that referes specially

i never said they are true ahley kitaab ( if i have said , prove it ), we say they may be or may not be but even if they follow their books ( they will not be atleast mushrik ) similarly even jew or christens follow their bible (they will not be atleast mushrik ) because hindu books also have signs of true God in them as they are in bible .
honestly following thoes book will lead them towords islam . we don't say to them to leave your book and come to us , but we say first go to your book read that and then compare that to Quran and inshallah you will see the right path . Millions and Millions of people including popes , nuns , hindu pundits have turned to islam after doing this. problem is that , like muslim they also not read their own books and stuck to their false believe, when they read their book , they are directed toward islam

similarly similar type of verses you can find in bible still christens worship jesus
