Is zaiqa in Texas? Khattichic I want to make this with breast meat…it can be done right? Will have to look in patel brothers for chicken 65 mix
Anday ka halwa doesn't taste eggy, because of the ground almonds and koya, it has a very rich taste with a slightly crumbly texture, if that makes any sense...lol!
How do u make Koya? Could I use recipe for khalakand for it?
Re: Khatti's Kitchen Korner
Yup, Zaiqa is in Richardson, Tx. You can definately use breast meat, just be careful not to over fry it, as breast meat tends to get dry.

I've never made khoya myself at home, as I can get it fresh here at my local Indian mithai ki dukaan, but do a search here on GS, I remember seeing a thread about making khoya at home, I think there is a YouTube video as well
Re: Khatti's Kitchen Korner
I lost my khoya recipe.

OMG! What an awesome thread! I'm salivating as I type, ahem. I need to try those baingan!
I need to try the chicken 65. I have had at several parties and absolutely love it. Been waiting a recipe for it. My family loves boneless chicken breast meat. I am always looking for good recipes for that. Now I will be on the search for chicken 65 mix. Haven't really come across this. Could I substitute some other masala mix for this. I always have chicken tandoori and chicken tikka mix on hand.
Re: Khatti’s Kitchen Korner

I am sure it is. Try looking in a Hyderabadi restaurants. I have had it parties thrown by Hyderabadi folks. It is favorite I am assuming.
Re: Khatti's Kitchen Korner
Yup....try any good indian/south indian dhaba...i'm sure you'll find it...
I tried the chicken 65. It was very tasty i used chicken breasts. I marinated chicken in vinegar, black pepper, soy sauce, MSG, salt. Then add egg and cornstarch and fried. I had to do this because i didn't have chicken 65 mix. Then I followed ur method. Took a pic...need to figure how to upload.
