I am lovin' it! and so are Zulfi, Seema, Qazi, Mona, Ayesha, Angie and Nabeel... and they are busy signing new serials after serial..and Seema already with 12 in hand for 2009-2010.......... while we are also preparing for yet another recording in Scotland and Spain by Zulfi--coming June-July!!

I hope peoplethat are "loving it" actually do something about it as well.. perhaps take hints from the fabuloud serials on Hum tv.. new directors and writers have outdone the oldies.. and left them far far behind..

This is the issue with serials and the crew.. they always say "the audience makes us who we are and they are our best critics" but when the audience speaks they can't tolerate it and recede deeper into their cliques and praise one another.. and blv that they are the best.

New talent is exceptionally good.. and the audience LOVES the new idea's and innovation over the done to death dialogues "aray aap aagaye?"

"chalein mein khana lagati hon"..and the super-filmy serials.

daikhiyeh Sr, drama ham logon kay liyeh banta hai right? it's not made for drama's director, writer, acters etc. and we DON'T LIKE IT.
i am sorry if i am critisizing in a bad way (my intentions are not to insult anyone, i am just tryin to get my point across)
i tried watching it hoping i will like it, but i couldn't stand it.

(my fav. drama right now is irfan khoosat, and sarmad sultan khoosat's "Mujhay apna naam o nishan milay" the acting, story, and everything else is so good, that i am literally count hours till it become available on vidpk)

ab mujhay nahi pasand aa raha khaandaan tou mai sirf director writer, acters ki respect kay liyeh tou majbooran nahi pasand kar sakti na. mujhay oss drama mai koi aisi baat nahi nazar aa rahi jou vid pk pay mojood baqi drama mai na ho? they are all same cliched dramas. i can almost predict the dialog a person is about to say in that drama.

You always earn respect not command it and respect only comes through dignity and integrity of character. There's a specific breed of artists who make compromises at the cost of professionalism and ethics and refuse to move with the times. Their fame is always short lived. Aaj bhi log khalida riaysat ko yaad rakhtye hain, lekin seema ghazal aur mona lisa ko koi nahi poochta. That speaks volumes about their worth.

drama banane waale baaz aajayein otherwise, just like our film industry , tv is also going to fade away. The viewers have grown up and matured but drama producers/director/writers are stuck in a time wrap.

Yanzala..aaj kal drama viewers ke liye nahin paisay ke liye banta hai.. that's why u don't see any great acting, dialogues, all u see if filmy rip-off's.. to make bucks!

If directors took the viewers into consideration..we would have quality serials back instead of the gambling..alcohol..skimpy clothes and heavily deckedup saas bahu's with 7 layers of foundation getting their kids married! Throw in a couple of dances.. weddings..eunuch's dancing at the weddings.. and call it a serial!

I am with you there--for I have a collection of over 5000 VHS, DVDs, SPOOL Videos and original clips of the plays and series/serials--fir which I have been offered millions by many copyright plunderers!

I have purchased a mini-vault at a staggering price where I store them
with virus free treatment every two years..at home only.

For example....not many in fact none...may have the original and full recording of that live program of ZIA MOHEYUDDIN held on Fleet Club, karachi Stage in 1971 participated by Ibne Insha, my dad Jamiluddin Aali, Pakistan's first female pilot Shukriya Khanum and my close friend then & now---Runa Laila...!

I have full series of KAHANI-KI-TALASH-MEIN (Farooq Zamir, Anwar Sajjad and Khalid Saeed Butt production from Lahore--1969) where I am myself in three stories with Samina Ahmed and Nayyar Kamal.

I have a treasurer of a play I did in Election-70 from Lahore with Rabiya Tabbasum and Nayyar Kamal and Sikandar Shaheen..titled "GHORA GHAAS KHAATA HAI".............which is unthinkable--on acting, direction and scripting now....!!

That would be apt.. I think it’s the facebook group that isn’t letting him stay in peace.. i’ve seen it mentioned in almost every thread.

Critics/viewers will write.. if the artistes, directors.. and writers don’t hear out..it’s THEIR headache..they might as well wrap up everything..Khaandan has no great reviews.

I love how showbiz people always mention that it’s the viewers and critics that make them..then when u discuss anything..they can’t accept it and label it as “stupid” contrary to their statements..

I am not going to listen to any kind of nonsense on my colleagues..and mind you…each and every word said on them…including those filthy and disgusting bad words on the threads which had to be closed down–have been conveyed by copy-paste of the threads–to the concerned–where all the TV artiste and our group–have had a real blast–and jokingly the pseudonym’s are bestowed upon a colegue if we are to make fun of them…!!!
