Brother Das Reich I believe he (Abu Sufyan b Harith [ra]) was Prophet's (saw) cousin and very close childhood friend - and there is very touching story of his conversion to Islam just before Conquest of Makkah and very human interaction between him and the Prophet (saw).
I heard that too although at one time he was a big enemy of the Prophet composing satrical verses against him
