^haha, yea specially Bush and Blairs of the world.

We should keep looking at the sky as I said before.

And till then:

We will keep lying, cheating, murdering, stealing, do bribery, raping, being lazy, kidnapping / robbing, throwing filth and sacrifice animal blood on our streets, burying women alive…

Well, khalifa will tell us not to do these things.

Kahaan ho bhai khalifa?:smack:

you just justified the talk of khilafah...lol

word.

rock on my brothers & sisters. i agree with you all whole heartedly

may Allah help us bring back the Khilafah. ameen!

Not at all.

I justified Not to wait for any khalifa or whatever.

I can imagine a cartoon:

A man is lying on grass with his head on a book.

Next day is his exam.

The man is waiting for someone to kick him in his behind to read the damn book.

Is that what you mean my friend?

Re: Khalifa, the definition, requirement (split from What is Pakistan thread in PA).

It is God's authority to chose the leader. He gave His verdict through his Messenger and the people started flouting it the moment the prophet passed away.

Who was Abu Bakr but a usurper, followed by Umar the great innovator and then Usman the weak willed. The Imam chosen by Allah was pushed away and hence the whole trouble started.

  • 002.124 * YUSUFALI: And remember that Abraham was tried by his Lord with certain commands, which he fulfilled: He said: "I will make thee an Imam to the Nations." He pleaded: "And also (Imams) from my offspring!" He answered: "But My Promise is not within the reach of evil-doers."

The Prophet(SAW) said:

"I am leaving you two things and you will never go astray as long as you cling to them -- they are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah." [Reported by Al- Haakim - Sahih].

or

"I am leaving for you two precious things and if you adhere both of them, you will never go astray after me. They are the Book of Allah and my progeny, that is my Ahlul-Bayt. The two shall never separate from each other until they come to me by the Pool (of Paradise)." [Reported in
Sahih Tirmidhi, v2, p298, v5, p63]

yes I would agree with you on that point... but I would add in your analogy if one of the compulsory sections on the exam was not just:
how to pray
how to do hajj
how to give zakah

but a huge section was
what is khilafah, and how to establish it.

You are right in that we should not wait to talk about fulfilling obligations which the situation in front of us demands from us to fulfill.
