I think it will be good for some other batsman to come in.
Mizbah ul haq or maybe Shoaib Malik?

may be good for other batsman but not good for Pakistan and they are not calling substitute anyway.
Its hard to comment on what triggered his "back home" tragedy right now but I dont want another Basit Ali here. Basit was also a great player
Yaar I have met Youhana ..he is a very down to earth guy..he is not a trouble maker like Shoaib...
It's really sad..HE and Inzy are the backbone of Pakistani batting line
He is meeting the chairman of PCB tomorow, so lets see what details are forthcoming.

Pakistan’s Youhana sent home from Nairobi tournament
Reuters - 27 August 2002
NAIROBI (Reuters) - Pakistan batsman Yousuf Youhana has been sent home from the triangular tournament due to start in the Kenyan capital on Thursday, officials said on Tuesday.
“Yousuf Youhana has been asked to return to Pakistan from the current tour. A detailed report has been sent to the Pakistan Cricket Board and the matter explained to the chairman of the board via telephone,” Pakistan team manager Yawar Saeed said in a statement.
Saeed declined to discuss the issue further, saying it would be unwise to do so before the Board and the chairman were informed. He said no replacement would be called up.
Youhana, the 28-year-old right-hander from Lahore, was named in the 15-man Pakistani squad for the triangular tournament also involving world champions Australia and Kenya.
Youhana has also been included in the 14-man squad for the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in Sri Lanka in October, but officials could not say whether he would miss that tournament as well.
Pakistan play Kenya in the first match of the triangular tournament on Thursday before facing Australia on Friday.

Mystery shrouds Youhana's abrupt return from Nairobi
The prolific batsman sent back by tour management with PCBchief's consent
By Waheed Khan
KARACHI: Pakistan's top batsman Yousaf Youhana was back in Lahore on Tuesday cooling his heels after a row with captain Waqar Younis in Nairobi, Kenya. Though no official of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) or Youhana himself were willing to elaborate on the reasons leading to this dramatic development, 'The News" learnt from independent sources that Youhana had been sent back on disciplinary grounds.
"Basically, he (Youhana) has a shoulder problem and refused to train with the team during nets in Nairobi on Monday which led to an altercation with Waqar," a family source of the batsman disclosed. "Waqar twice asked him to come and bat in the nets but Youhana told him that his shoulder was not right. Waqar then told him that he would not tolerate such behaviour and he would be sent back. This led to a heated argument between the two with Youhana ending up telling Waqar he should carry out his threat if he wanted to," the source informed.
"Apparently, the tour management committee including Waqar, coach Mudassar Nazar, manager Yawar Saeed and vice-captain Inzamamul Haq held a meeting in which it was decided to send back Youhana since he was also complaining of shoulder injury," the source said. "But the tour management committee first called up the PCB Chairman Lt Gen Tauqir Zia and took his consent before sending Youhana back."
This was confirmed by PCB sources who said Youhana had been sent with the approval of the chairman who is unhappy with the team's recent performance and was not in a mood to tolerate any dissent from any player. Youhana, when contacted, said he would not like to say anything on the subject as he had been asked to meet Tauqir on Wednesday (today) in Lahore. Sources disclosed that Youhana had further been instructed by the ADC of the general that he should not speak on the issue to the press.
The source close to Youhana said the incident in the nets was not such a big one and was blown out of proportion by Waqar who has not been happy in recent times over the behaviour of some players. This is the second incident in one month's time in the team where a senior player has left the team with the management unable to give a clear explanation over what had led to the unpleasant situation.
Last month fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar had flown off to London amidst conflicting reports from the management and Board over the reasons for his sudden departure. While the performance of the team in the recently concluded Tangier tournament has left supporters and fans of the team unhappy and disappointed, there have also been rumours and speculations that all is not right in the team.
But this correspondent himself witnessed an incident in Tangier where Youhana had an argument with the Australian trainer of the team, Dennis Waight over training with the team. But the source close to Youhana said that the premier batsman had refused to train since he had a genuine shoulder problem and wanted to rest it to recover in time for the triangular series being played in Nairobi from August 29.
"It was not such a big thing and Waqar could not handle it properly and was given wrong advice by the team management," the source claimed. What is a fact, however, is that in recent times -- starting from the One-day series in Australia in June -- some of the senior players have been unhappy with Waqar's attitude particularly his refusal to accept their advice on key issues and decisions affecting the team.
"Basically this mood stems from the fact that on a number of occasions while some of the senior players have advised Waqar on some key issues, he has gone against the advice and done what has been told by Mudassar and the manager," the source said. Interestingly, Yawar Saeed sits in the meetings held on selection matters although nowhere in the cricket world is a manager involved in purely technical matters concerning the team. Cricket pundits fear that if the General Tauqir does not act quickly to settle matters in the team the situation could deteriorate further resulting in poor performances.
Time to have a new captain. Bye bye waqar

Youhana is a very nice man.. I have heard that he was a auto-rickshaw driver. I guess that's why his wrist movement is so good !! Shoiab seems to be suffering with gastroentitis.
why does all this happen when big tournaments r approaching....

The sending away of Yusuf Yohanna
This is an unmitigated disaster.
I hope Waqar and the Pakistani Cricket Management put the interests of Pakistan Cricket First and Foremost viz. ahead of their own egos.
A superb Team is losing out financially due to the so-called Terrorist Threat. PCB has lost over USD 30 Million.
All concerned should come back to their senses and and ensure that both Yusuf Yohanna and Shoaib Akhtar, both Prima Donnas, play for Pakistan in the Kenya Cup

Australia’s stand-in coach Allan Border is wary of a Pakistan backlash at the triangular series in Kenya which starts on Thursday.
“Although Pakistan did not play well in the Morocco Cup, they are still capable of beating any top side. But as world one-day champions, we’ll give our best,” Border, a former Australia test captain, told a news conference on Wednesday.
Border stepped in at the last minute to coach Australia in the tournament, which also involves the hosts, following the withdrawal of John Buchanan who has a back injury.
Kenya and Pakistan play in the first match on Thursday while Australia play Pakistan on Friday.
Australia will be keen to avoid a repeat of the last time they visited Kenya when they were beaten in the first match of the ICC Knock Out Trophy in October 2000.
Pakistan performed disappointingly in Tangiers against Sri Lanka and South Africa, winning just one of their four matches and failing to make the final.
Captain Waqar Younis said they would miss batsman Yousuf Youhana, who was sent home on Tuesday, with no reason given for his departure.
“He is a very good batsman and a key player and we will certainly miss him but in his absence, we have to cope with what we have,” Waqar said.
I think it was just misunderstanding between the two players.
Youhana had a shoulder injury and didn't show up for pr.actice.
Waqar Younis got mad but didn't know Youhana had an injury.
So its nobody's fault.
Lets all blame the physio, Dr. Riaz
i guess it was just misunderstanding and he’s injured. so everything’s fine i guess :k:
...if YY misbehaved wid the captain whteva the reasons they were right to send him baq....the BASIC reason for Pakistanz unpredictability is the fact tht there is NO discipline in the side! no one lissenz to the captain and thus incidents like this happen...
i m sure even if he WAS injured he codve practiced for a few minutes and if he was THIS badly injured he shudve stayed at the hotel or with the physio or even better he shudve skipped the tournament nothing is more important then one's health!
basically the players of our team rnt educated and DO NOT come from good back grounds...then they suddenly find fame and money so the result well its obvious after this incident...
NO PLAYER in Pak side is ready to play for the name of the country on their shirts but are prepared to play for the sponsors name on the shirt and that is very sad...
