The Australian’s have anounced the following squad for the Kenya cup:
Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, Michael Bevan, Andrew Bichal, Jason Gilespie, Nathan Hauritz, Mathew Hayden, Brett Lee, Darren Lehmann, Jimmy Maher, Damien Martyn, Glenn McGrath, Shane Warne and Shane Watson.
The schedule for the matches is as follows:
**Aug 29: Pakistan v Kenya Aug 30: Pakistan v Australia Sept 1: Pakistan v Kenya Sept 2: Australia v Kenya Sept 4: Pakistan v Australia Sept 5: Australia v Kenya Sept 7: Final **
It looks like that both teams aren't giving importance to this tournament.
It will be very tough for someone like Shoaib Akhtar to play back to back matches almost everday.
Perhaps the one day series should have been played in Sharjah at a different time.
Maybe before the World Cup sounds reasonable.
It looks like both teams are here with there best 11.
Now we can decide who are the top 2 One Day team is.

Deciding top 2 oneday team where third team is Kenya.
:)
Again you are making no sense.
Please learn some English before replying next time.
Why do you not agree that Pakistan is one of the top 2 one day team in the world ?
Because pakitsani was defeated badly by SA and SRILANKA last week and Sri lank is the team which was spanked left right and center by India and England last month.
You are showing your ignorance in Cricketing matters, Kenya beat India last time they played, so Kenya are better?
Pakistan and Australia are ranked 1 and 2 in ODI's by all major ratings systems, and the finalists of the last WC and by general consensus 2 top 3 sides, along with SA in the LOI version of the game.
This series is a slight "we're watching your game" scenario before the WC from both sides. Pakistan beat Australia IN Australia and thus should hold no fear of the Aussies, but they are a brilliant team.
this is stupid
they r just trying to boost some revenues before the ICC championship
.
.
.
Though it should be fun to watch the top 2 countries, it is being held at a wierd time, and way too quickly. And its good that Kenya, though they might lose, are getting some experience before the world cup against the two best teams.
Did I say that.but of u say so then will take it as compliment.
Jokes apart…It doesnt proof Indian is better than AUS neither did I claim it.But It does prove that your statment that Pakistan is in top 2 teams is out of proporation.
First start beating team like Srilanka and SA and then think of being top team. One fluke against AUS and Dimag Assman pe chadh gya.. World Cup ke Khwab dekhne lage.. huh… Abhi SA and SL ne chaddi utar li, tab bhi hosh nahi aaya…
Sure you said it.
You used the same theory didn’t you.
I just extented your statement.
Ask any cricket guru and he will tell you that Pakistan is one of the top team in the world, if not one of but the best, regardless of the stats.
Just one bad tournament and your’e jumping like Kiran Moore in 92 WC
That shows your true personality.
You would love to see Pakistan loose.
If you agree with what you just said than using that theory.
Australia couple months ago lost to NZ and RSA in VB triangular series.
Does that mean NZ is better than Aus.
I don’t think so.
Now lets see what kind of excuse you come up with this time.
You are the one who should be ashamed. just now you got beaten black and blue by the Lankans and South Africans and still saying that you are better than them ??

In my opinion it should not be called the Kenya Cup, coz this series was and is organized to celebrate the Golden Jubilee Year of Pakistan Test Cricket…
