I think the above team would give the Australians a good fight. It has 6 bowlers, and 2 all rounders. It would be great if Azhar can show the same commitment which he showed in the last match against SA.
One bad tournament!
Why don't you answer my question first.
When NZ and SA defeated Aus in VB series.
Does that mean that both are better than Aus?
Please answer my question.

First of all you need to get your facts right. In that VB series each team played 8 league matches (each team won 4 and lost 4 - so there is no question of being better or worse here). The finalists were decided between the top two teams with better run rate. Had New Zealand not conceded a bonus point to South Africa Aussie would have reached the Finals.
Here in this series - Sri Lankans won 3 Lost 1,SA won 2 lost 2, Pak won 1 lost 3. There is no comparison this and VB series performance of Australia.
Last but not the Least - New Zealand may not be a good test team, but they are a very good ONE DAY side especially when playing in home conditions (Remember 92 World Cup - they were the best in league matches)
Hmmmm!!!! So you prefer Shoaib Malik to Azhar Mahmood. I think both Azhar and Razzaq, when bowling in tandem can be quite a force like in the last one day against SA. Depends on the pitch whether they want to go in with 5 fast and one spinner or 4 fast and 2 spinners.
Our results will depend on Shoaib's performances. To quote Ponting:
"There is no counter to yorkers at 150+kph-either you stop them or you dont".
Plz dont take the comments of Indians on cricket seriously, they have only one aim and that is to belittle Pakistan. They should look at India's record against us......still the few here ruin the rep of the countless great Indian fans I've met.

Having 4 fast bowlers already doesn't really require a 5th paceman.
We need some spinners.
I like Shoaib Malik as a batsman and he is a little better than Azhar in batting so picking him over Azhar won't be a bad idea.

Azhar mehmood is a better bowler and when it comes to batting than I guess he has more experience , shaoib malik is very talented same goes with Imran nzair but they are too young to handle any pressure,I think we need to add more exprience in our batting than relying on talent itslef. I won;t be comfortable seeing shaoib malik , imran and shadid afridi on the same team..they all are talented but you never know al three of them can fall in space of few runs..
Including Shahid afridi is more than enough. He is a big gamble , bsaicaly we all are mentally prepared about his wicket to be thrown and if he sticks around then it is a nightmare for the opposition team.
Having Imran Nazir in the starting lineup atleast before the WC is a nightmare for me.
Shahid Afridi mostly fails.
Shoaib Malik, In all the innings I have seen him he looks to be a disciplined batsman.
Even chasing such a low score vs South Africa, he kept his bat straight and defended very solid.
Like I said before, Pakistan doesn't need a 7th full time bowler in Mahmood and I want Malik to bowl a little but should be given more chances with bat as well.
Azhar Mahmood is kind of player who either comes in the middle of the batting order collapse or doesn't get a chance to bat because the above players play out the 50 overs.
I say go with Malik first, if he doesn't do good then we have more options.
Poor Mizbah-ul-Haq is one of another Pakistani talents who would probably spend half of his career on the sidelines due to such great batsmans in the team.
I won’t be able to show the matches from Aug 29th to Sept. 1st. I am gone from 29th till Sept. 2nd will be back on the 2nd so I might be able to show the match on 2nd but the rest of em after Sept. 2nd I will broadcast.

when Tenjer cup was just going to start i ask u ppl about the chances of Pakistan in it...i said Srilanka and South Africa are in good form, then ppl asked me that which form i am talking about of South Africa and Srilanka.so dears this was the form..now Kiniya cup is just approaching..how will u rate Pakistan against Austrailia now...???again i would say austrailia is in good form:P
I would still rate PAK the favourite. Not because they are the best or they are my favourite I think in Moroco they had a bad luck. For instance the last match they played against SA was really a bad luck. Everyone was saying they are going to win the match the way things were going at the start and even I was damn sure that PAK would win the match when they required 40 of 78 balls. Since PAK has to lose the match, see how Inzi got out, I don’t think any one would have even imagined it. You win some you lose little :). I would say PAK is favourite for the up coming Kenya Tournament. :k:

But according to most of the members on this forum India,West Indies, Kenya all come in the same category ( Like Richards and Afridi) Don't they ?
Pakistan,Bangladesh,Australia are in the top category.
