Empty words don’t mean anything. He is pacifying the situation to keep his job, the morale of the Armed Forces is as low as 1971, people are openly questioning the function of the military, and our enemies have seen the critical weaknesses even in our supposedly well protected garrison cities. I am not here to support the PM or the President, but I will say this: First, The tracking/capture of OBL fell under ISI’s responsibility – with the ISI falling under the military NOT Interior Ministry’s command. Second, having non-Pakistani helicopters land without prior permission (even when its under the guise of NATO/Coalition forces) was the failure of the armed forces not Abbottabad police. Third, Kayani’s duplicity is evident when he “rails” against the drone strikes while secretly giving permission for them to take off from Baluchistan – both PM and President may be sell outs (to the US), at least they don’t pretend to be “outraged.”

I hope that there is an internal coup with Kayani, Pasha and other ghaddars being wiped out. They deserve to be court martialed for failing to protect Pakistan sovereignty. Am I harder on the Military than the Politicians? Yes, of course I am! The greatest failure was that an internationally recognized terrorist was caught near PMA and more importantly, the Americans were able to liquidate him without a basic response from the Pakistani military.

Please list the words and deeds of the PM and president in the immediate aftermath or even weeks after the incident. isn’t it shameful that while the whole world knew what had happened it was total silence from these two. They are the head of the govt and the nation elected them not the military. yes kiyani is to be condemned on this incident but you can hardly say they are innocents because they simply did not pretend to be “outraged”. Probably they were not because they were more concerned about their bountiful booties being cut off by America than the hurt of the nation.
