i just heard this word on Samaa TV so i thought i’ll ask you guys the meaning of this word.

Altaf Bhai has asked his MQM workers to ask all the imaams of all the masaajid in and around Karachii to submit their “KAWA’IF” and if they refuse record their statements and send them to 90 ?] which will be sent to the Pak Army and to the Government.

the word is:

KAWAI’F

yeh is lafz ke asl ma’na nahiiN haiN…yeh applied meanings haiN…mujhe zaraa tafseel se bataaiye kiuN k mujhe aap se hii ziyaada ummeed thii k aap zaraa tafseel se bataayeNge. so, rasm e dunyaa bhii hai, mauq’a bhii hai, dastoor bhii hai lihaaza Khaama farsaaii kijiye :slight_smile: :smiley:

Kawaif is the plural or rather Jama-ul-jama of kaifiat.
