There is one verse in the Gita where Krishna says

If a Brahmin does the work of a Shudra he has sinned
if a Shudra does the work of a Brahmin he has sinned

I interpret that as each should do the duty assigned to him. For that time, it may have made sense. Not any more. I reject that verse. Period.

There would be similar verses in the Quran that may not make sense for today

So point here is, we can always pick and choose to throw potshots at a Religion. And insult it. Some choose to do it. The vast majority - including here - don’t.

Your painting of Hinduism in such a bad light was relevant to the thread because it shows your hypocrisy. What you believe abt Hinduism is irrelevant. The language you used to describe it was despicable.

Stating Hinduism considers it MORAL to treat untouchables like crap was dirty. Debating such matters is pointless. Because for one this is not the Religion forum.

I brought up your post to show your hypocrisy. As stated earlier, if similar language was used against Islam ,that person would not be here for 1 sec.

You go t so offended by this video because it was an insult to Allah. But you turn around and use disgusting language against a religion.

Agree with Southie.. There are issues in different religions which might not make sense to us today.. I don’t think Hinduism can be singled out..

Let us assume there is no such verse. In my latest post, I have indicated that engaging in debates of why another religion is bad is not healthy. And that those that engage is such dirty tactics are hypocrites when they cry foul when someone offends their sensibilities by disrespecting their religion.
That was the bigger point. I have ZERO interest trying to prove another religion is bad. Zero. zilch. nada.

And as I have mentioned in the past, when it comes to any and whatsoever remotely a criticism for Hinduism relgion you fight like a tiger.

And then go back to your fake charming attitude of saying no qualm against any religion and nada, zilch whatever.
