I can never understand the fuss made about this woman, from calling her looks ‘stunning’ (even read how **‘every’ **boy in her year at school fancied her, God I feel sorry for them if that’s true lol) to raving about every single outfit she wears..
I admit I really liked her wedding dress and those long Issa evening gowns but in terms of her ‘normal’ style is she anything special?

fine, granted that the media are hyping up her choice of clothing way too much... even if she wore a primark black dress she'd be getting them crazy.. but i think she's perfectly fine and quite pretty actually. maybe the eye makeup is a little too much but yeah.

nopes. nothing wrong with normal but she's like every other girl of her background. the king's road type. she has grace and she could be a style icon but so far she's pretty bland.
oh, and i just found out last week that my colleague was in the same form as pippa for 5 years during secondary school.

The tabloids make her look like such a joke in fashion world by stamping this completely undeserved and unnecessary 'style icon' tag.
She's a Royal now, obviously we gonna see her in fine, well put and quality pieces by big designers, other than that what is so 'iconic' about her style? How is her dressing any different from other members of the European Royal family or first ladies?
Just because her late mother in law (Princess Diana) was a fashion eye candy, doesn't mean they have to force the title on poor old Katie as well.
Somehow they're trying to hard to make her have a Diana like impact on public, which I think is unfair.

she does wear highstreet brands, so she's not completely conforming to the royal/celebrity trend of wearing designers.
unless i don't know the meaning of designer or highstreet. :o

iono, maybe when i follow her religiously and read up articles on what and who she wears to official events i'll let you know.
i was speaking generally anyway, i'm sure reiss is highstreet. maybe pricey hightstreet.

She globally gets the most coverage on her official appearances and this is when her style gets commented on the most. Right now for her American tour, she's been wearing big designers like Alexander McQueen, Erdem, Sarah Burton, (many more yet to see) so its not so surprising that she's looking quite a fine lady lately and the editors can't stop gushing about her style.
You do see a big difference in her appearance if you compare her looks in high street pieces and clothes by big designers.

not really, i think she looks quite similar in whatever she wears. and look at what stoppits said. those two moments where she wore Reiss are pretty official appearances :P

She wore a Reiss dress for the engagement annoucement. Those pictures were/are on every single bit of Royal Wedding memrobilia (I have most of it). Reiss is high street. Not cheap high street but it is high street.
