It is in Pakistan's interests to recognise Israel and buy weapons from it. In fact, most wise nations, e.g. Turkey, have already done that. But Pakistan is constrained by the fact that all the fundoos that it has nurtured will assassinate musharraf or aziz if israel is recognised. This is good. Pakistan must be disabled from pursuing an independent foreign policy as a punishment for its exploitation of religion for petty political ends.
