I tell you all to never forget the past, never forget a time when you are wronged, when you have what is yours taken from you.
I tell you as a Pakistani never to forget your identity, never to let go your past, who you are and what you will be is determined by yourself but your past is something you cannot change.
As a human I cannot forget, but I can indeed forgive and while I expect no mercy I too look for forgiveness… So my fellow citizens on both sides of the border will you join me in prayers for peace? I pray that we never wrong one another or hurt one another ever again… that we learn to live side by side forever! Pakistan Zindabaad, Kahsmir Zindabaad! Hindustaan Zindabaad!
"Indeed, we are at another side of border but our heart and mind always prays for you, We always stand, shoulder to shoulder to show our brotherhoodness and care and supports to you O’ peoples of Kashmir! and we will move this issues at the edge to show our supports although we raised this matter all over the world by remebering this day as “Solidarity Day.”
Sixty years is a very long time... yet here I stand once again, amazed and awed by your resilience my Kashmiri brothers and sisters. This isn’t about me or someone sitting in India, this is about you and only you, yet you have become a significant part of me. Growing up hearing the tales of torture and savagery inflicted upon you every day, my aching heart half wished you would give up… but you have made me stronger.
Your unbreakable will, year after year, has taught me why freedom is worth fighting for. After every brutal blow you stand erect and strong to teach me what dignity is. Your continuous struggle shows me, that having faith in your heart is the best weapon against your oppressors.
I live to see the free land that was once known as ‘small Persia’. I live to meet those people from a race once famous for its skill and intelligence. Never has a tyrant won. Never has the blood of a martyr gone to waste. And soon history will repeat itself and you will stand as victors InshAllah! I live to see that day and I pray that it comes very soon. ‘O lover of Truth! Be conclusively final like a glittering sword, Be thy self the destiny of thine own world.’ (Allama Iqbal)
