Kashmir..........How many of you do see chances of a solution?

How about the Millions of Kashmiris still struggling for independance within Kashmir, or have you convinced yourself they never existed either…
Im sure they would love a wall to seperate themselves from you…

You can go back to sticking our head in the sand at this point:D

lol... Exactly, Indians are so full contrdictions and out right hypocracy it ridiculous. If this genius Punjabi person ever thought outide of his bollywood mind frame, he might see it for himself.

So all of the border states in India require nearly 700, 000 troops just for defense?

LOL… When you have no point left to make, you resort to chauvanism and rabid nationalism! You are truly pathetc. If I were an Indian, I would be truly disguted to be associated with you..

Do you even realize the hypocracy of your statement. You are proclaiming that a people have no right to their own homland. By that same twisted logic, Indians had no right to demand freedom from the British either. The British could have just as easily said the same to people like you, if you dont like British rule go live some place else!
LOL… Now go ahead and claim yourself as being democratic. :hehe:

Anyways, seems you have thoroughly raped by Janab e ali, who is obviously far more knowledgable and sensible then you. You have heard it from the mouth of a Kashmiri himself. Your credibility is zilch…

Re: Kashmir..........How many of you do see chances of a solution?

It's a never ending issue, if it wasn't for India's greed, we would have been best friends and advanced much more instead of spending billions of $$$$ on arms.

It's simple, why should have Kashmir been part of India when more than 65% people were muslims???? Why should a hindu raja make a decision and not the people themselves????
Deep inside, Indians know kashmir should have never been theirs but the hindu raja provided them an opportunity and they took it with both hands. Now it's more like ego problem for them so i don't see any solution to this problem.

you take too much tensions in India’s internal matters :hehe: shaant raha kar mere bache, we will take care of them

Re: Kashmir..........How many of you do see chances of a solution?

Pakistani forum. Kashmir is part of Pakistan. You are the ones butting in like typical desi aunties.

A very interesting post. Everything under the world has been discussed with lot of muck flying around. But the original debate topic was:

"Do you people see any chance in resolving the so called `Kashmir Issue'?"

The way people from all the sides are behaving, I can safely say that the thread can be closed with a simple NO.

Oh bhai apni SHANTI kahi aur ja k becho, Last time i checked “gupshup” was a Pakistani forum so stop giving us lectures when all you do on this forum is " talk about PAKISTAn’S internal matters" :hehe::hehe::hehe::hehe:.

Virtually synonymous ? How conveniently you ignore the existence of Hindu Kashmiri pandits. But how can I expect any better from you ?

Pls see this from the Kashmir pundit’s mouth themselves -

Islamic Terrorism and Genocide of Kashmiri Pandits

400,000 Kashmir pundits were forced out. You are quick to point out 200 deaths, which by the way this website claims is 1100. Should one believe you or the Kashmir pundits ? And what about the innumerable cases of loot, arson, extortion etc ?

And please don’t give me this rehearsed response about other minorities staying behind. No other minority was considered as big a threat to the secessionists than the Hindu kashmiris.

Not all Hindus/Muslims moved out voluntarily in 1947. Most of them were forced out by thugs on both side who felt the area belonged to them since they were the majority community.

Muslims have been in majority in Kashmir only because of the Indian government’s minority appeasing decision of not getting rid of Article 370. Otherwise, the demographics of the state would have been very different today.

And the question here is not about expelling the majority community - its about providing anti-nationals (who are a minority in India) the choice to move out. You don’t like India & Indians, then get out !!

Janab-e-Ali is a female, so please think before you speak...

Re: Kashmir…How many of you do see chances of a solution?

All those who trivialize the ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri pundits by Pak sponsored terrorists should get their heads examined…

Genocide in Kashmir
[ul]
[li]400,000 Kashmiri Pandits, constituting 99% of the total population of Hindus living in Muslim majority area of the Kashmir Valley, were forcibly pushed out of the Valley by Muslim terrorists, trained in Pakistan, since the end of 1989. They have been forced to live the life of exiles in their own country, outside their homeland, by unleashing a systematic campaign of terror, murder, loot and arson.[/li][li]Genocide of Kashmiri Pandits has reached its climax with Muslim terrorism succeeding in ‘CLEANSING’ the valley of this ancient ethno-religious community.[/li][li]With the completion of 11th year of their forced exile, this peace loving, culturally rich community with a history of more than 5000 years, is fighting a grim battle to save itself from becoming extinct as a distinct race and culture.[/li][/ul]Main Camp Sites in Jammu

Terrorist Violence against Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir - Role of Pakistan
[ul]
[li]Terrorism in Kashmir is an ideological struggle with specified political commitments which are fundamentalist and communal in character. [/li][li]Terrorist violence is aimed at achieving the disengagement of the state of Jammu and Kashmir from India and its annexation to Pakistan. It is, the continuation of the Islamic fundamentalist struggle for the homeland of Pakistan which claims Jammu and Kashmir state on account of its Muslim majority character. The major dimension of the terrorist violence in Kashmir is the terrorists’ commitment to the extermination and subjugation of the Hindus in the state because Hindus do not subscribe to the idea of separation from India, nor do they expect to be governed by the authority of the state which derives its sanction from the law and precedent of Islam. Kashmiri Pandits (Hindus) have always been in the forefront of the struggle against secessionism, communalism and fundamentalism. Hence this peace loving minority with a modern outlook became the main victim of terrorist violence. The strategies involved in the terrorists’ operation against the Hindus in Kashmir include:[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]The extermination of Hindus [/li][li]Subjecting Hindus to brutal torture to instill fear among them in order to achieve their submission. [/li][li]To engineer a forced mass exodus of Hindus from the land of their ancestors and birth by way of issuing threatening letters, kidnappings and torture deaths on non-compllance of the terrorists’ dictates and ensure the destruction of the secular and pluralistic character of the socio-political fabric of the Kashmiri Society. [/li][li]Attacks, molestations, kidnappings, gang rapes of the women folk of the Hindus in order to instil fear and humiliation in them. [/li][li]Destruction and burning of the residential houses of the Hindus who leave their homes in look out for safety. Looting of their properties and appropriation of their business establishments to ensure that they do not return. [/li][li]Attachment of their landed property. [/li][li]Destruction of the social base of the Hindus by the desecration and destruction of their places of worship. [/li][li]Appropriation of the property of the Hindu shrines and its attachment to Muslim religious endowments. [/li][/ul]
Fact sheet Of Atrocities On Kashmiri Pandits
Educational Institutions burnt, damaged forcefully occupied : 105
Religious & Cultural Institutions Destroyed/burnt, damaged : 103
Shops, Factories looted/burnt/occupied : 14,430
Agriculture dependent families deprived of their land and source of income : 20,000
Horticulture dependent families deprived of their resource : 12,500
Houses Burnt : more than 20,000
Houses looted : 95%
Torture killings of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley : more than 1,100
Religious Sadism At Its Peak

[ul]
[li]Killing of Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir by terrorists clearly depicts extreme sadism. All victims have been subjected to extreme torture and terror. [/li][/ul]
[ul]

Torture deaths have been brought about by such inhuman practices as:
[li]Strangulation by using steel wires [/li][li]Hanging [/li][li]Impailing [/li][li]B*****ng with hot irons [/li][li]Burning alive [/li][li]Lynching [/li][li]Bleeding to death [/li][li]Gouging out of vital organs [/li][li]Dismemberment of Human bodies [/li][li]Drowning alive. [/li][/ul]
[li]Terrorists have frequently indulged in barbaric acts like performing ‘death dances’ after killing their target. [/li][li]Many a time, dead bodies were not even allowed to be properly cremated. [/li]
Universal Apathy
Failure of Government of India:

[ul]
[li]The Jammu and Kashmir Government and Government of India have failed squarely to protect the Kashmiri Pandits against Islamic terrorism. [/li][li]Jammu and Kashmir being the only Muslim majority state in whole of India, the protection of minorities and their living peacefully, in their homeland, is crucial for India to remain as a Secular Democratic State. [/li][li]Ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits (Hindus) from Kashmir valley is the crucial failure of Indian state to uphold its commitments to people of India as enshrined in Indian constitution which provides right to live with dignity and honour to every citizen irrespective of caste, creed, religion or colour. [/li][/ul]Failure of Human Rights Organisations:
[ul]
[li]Leading International Human Rights Organisations like Amnesty International, Asia Watch and others have yet to take proper cognisance of the genocide perpetrated on Kashmiri Pandits. [/li][li]Their representatives have so far failed to visit the camps in Jammu, Delhi and other parts of India were thousands of families are puting up for the last five years. [/li][li]Gradual extinction of a civilised community with an ancient culture is yet to shake the conscience of the world. [/li][/ul]After The Exodus
[ul]
[li]More than 5000 persons have died in camps and elsewhere after their forced exodus from the valley. They died of sunstrokes (more than 1000) as most of them were used to cold climate of Kashmir and could not acclimitize to extremely hot temperatures in rest of India. [/li][li]Heart attacks and accidents which have been mainly attributed to extreme psychological trau ma and mental pressures by the doctors. [/li][li]Gastroentritis and typhoid epidemics, snake bites etc. [/li][li]The cohesiveness of the displaced families has broken as they were to undergo diaspora for finding livelihood in various parts of country. [/li][li]Cultural Dilution - The whole displaced community with a distinct culture is facing the threat of extinction after loosing its natural habitat. [/li][/ul]Kashmiri Pandits

  • Representatives of Glorious Heritage And Legacy of Kashmir

  • Symbols of Brotherhood and Peace
    [ul]
[li]Kashmiri Pandits have always been devoted to spritual and academic pursuits. [/li][li]They have during their history of more than 5000 years nurtured values of peace, co-existence and tolerance. [/li][li]They are the original inhabitants of Kashmir. [/li][li]Kashmiri Pandits are progenitors of Kashmir Shaivism the philosophy of oneness of mankind. [/li][li]Hinyan and Sarvastivadin sects of Budhism found highest expression in Kashmir and Kashmiri Pandits spread their message to China and Central Asia. [/li][li]Kashmiri Pandits have contributed immensely to the evolution of human thought by contributing to almost all fields of creative human endeavour like literature (mainly Sanskrit), language, science and philosophy from times immemorial. [/li][li]Since the advent of Islam in 14th century, Kashmiri Hindus have been subjected to extreme persecution. To escape religious fanaticism in the form of forced conversions to Islam they had either to embrace death or leave Kashmir more than once during the last six hundred years. [/li][li]Present exodus of Kashmiri Pandits is fourth mass exodus in the history of Kashmir since the advent of Islam in this part. [/li][/ul]Kashmiri Pandit: A Rare Pocket Of Tolerance
    [ul]
[li]Inspite of repeated rejection of co-existence and pluralism by Muslim society for the last six hundred years, Kashmiri Pandit has not given up his faith in these values. [/li][li]He has not reciprocated fanaticism with fanaticism and violence with violence. [/li][li]In a world threatened with ethnic and religious strifes where various parties have invariably resorted to violence and force, to further their claims, Kashmiri Pandit isthe only example who has totally rejected the violence as a means to fulfill socio-political aspirations. [/li][/ul]World therefore has a stake in protecting this culturally rich, educated and peace loving community, from becoming extinct, if it has to move towards a Modern World Order of Peace and Universal brotherhood. Terrorist violence cannot be justified on the ground of its political and ideological motivations or value basis. Terrorist violence in the valley is not a Freedom Struggle at all. Cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir is a clear testimony of this fact. There is no freedom which impringes upon freedom. There can be no equality which leads to inequality.

There you go ... finally admitting to what has been the problem all along .... Pakistan has refused to vacate Kashmir "completely" .... and that is what the UNCIP resolutions of Nov. 48 has clearly mentioned ....

The questions of demilitirization always got stuck on this fact ... Pakistan forces entered Kashmir "after" the UN resolution of April 1948 ..... so who is responsible of violation of UN resolutions !!!!!

Rest you can spew fire and venom on India but that is not going to change the ground situation in Kashmir. You might have missed it but even UN talks (UNSC resolution not words of Secretary General) of a solution to Kashimr through "peacefull" negotiations between India and Pakistan .....

The ground work for such a solution was done during Musharafs time. Once things stabilize in Pakistan ..... it will be finalized between the two countries. Hate mongers on the two sides have been marganalized and peace will prevail between the two countries soon !!!!

Where is Kashmir … here is Pakistan government offical website

About Pakistan

The Islamic republic of Pakistan emerged as an independent sovereign state on 14th August 1947, as a result of the division of former British India. It lies between 23-35 to 37- 05 north latitude and 60-50 to 77- 50 east longitude touching the Hindukush Mountains in the north and extending from the Pamirs to the Arabian Sea.
Pakistan covers 796,095 sq.km with a population of 132.35 million according to population census 1998. It is divided into four provinces:

  • Sindh,
  • Punjab,
  • North West Frontier Province
  • Balochistan.

Climatically, Pakistan enjoys a considerable measure of variety. North and north western high mountainous ranges are extremely cold in winter while the summer months of April to September are very pleasant.

The country has an agricultural economy with a network of canals irrigating a major part of its cultivated land. Wheat, cotton, rice, millet and sugar cane are the major crops. Among fruits: mangos, oranges, bananas and apples are grown in abundance in different parts of the country. The main natural resources are natural gas, coal, salt and iron. The country has an expanding industry. Cotton, Textiles, sugar, cement, and chemicals play an important role in its economy.
The country comprises of a vast area that was the great center of ancient civilizations of the world. Its historical sites beginning with stone-age to Twentieth Century A.D are a mirror of the life of its people who were, by nature, simple, virile, hospitable and hard working. Ancient sites excavated in Taxila, Harappa, and Moenjodaro speak volumes for Pakistan’s rich cultural background dating back to 3,000 B.C.

Its not yet been proven that army men were responsible for these rapes, and the anti-India brigade is quick to point fingers. This could also the the handiwork of vested interests out to further alienate Indian army in the valley.

Bottom line is that we dont know who the rapists were...How does my questioning that basic fact equate to my defending the rapists ?

A majority of terrorist acts in the last decade have been the work of Muslims. When the next terrorist act occurs can we say for certainty that it was carried out by a Muslim ?

Its not freedom fighters that have been accused of rape... The Kasmiri people know this and so does everyone else...
If it smells like an Indian and walks lke an Indian... You need to get your head out of the sand...

Kashmir is culturally connected to Pakistan. But as yet it hasnt been incorporated into the country because we still believe they have a choice in the matter…

You Indians have absolutely no cultural or geographic link with Kasmir.
So thiss issue has nothing to do with you. Consider yourself lucky that we indulge your nonsense.

Janab e ali made the point that demilitarization was supposed to be mutual. Pakistan couldnt do it without Indians doing so simultaneously. This was offered by Pakistan, but India refused. Basically more of Indias diversionary tactics.

If you have nothing left to say, then stop wasting time...

Debate is closed. Pakistan and the Kashmiris have the moral high ground. Any non biased viewer would agree that India is in the wrong in all respect whether you admit it or not.

LOL… I “take” tension as do the THOUSANDS of protesters who regulrly denounce India, shout freedom slogans, and stomp on the gay tricolors… :hehe:

LOL… I love how you jump to the defense of your precious pandits living the life of luxury in India, but the Muslim majority being attacked by your military, you brush aside. You pathetic man… Thats why you have ZERO credibility.

Keep your Pandits.. If like you said, Sikhs and Hindus can leave muslim majority Pakistan, then your Pandits can leave Muslim Majority Kashmir aswell…

LOL… I think a Pandit website is a bit biased dont you?

Khair, like you said, Hindu Pandits ar Indian by admission. Let them live in Hindu India. Kashmir is for Muslms, Just like Pakistan was for Muslims. And after 60 years of torment by the Hindu Raj, they have earned it even more the the so called Pundits.

Anyways, this just exposes your Hindu bigotry for what it is…

You make excuses for your Army when they mistreat Kashmiri Muslims, you even make excuses to for your Hindu bothers when they kill Indian Muslims themselves!

This is why Kashmiris dont want to be a part of your country. For fear of being at the hands of Hindu fascists.
