Thanks Sheal. I actually checked with Catastrope already - she told me that the colour she got was a dark purple. I think with the light it looks different, it seemed brownish to me before. Do you think green dubatta would work with the outfit. Plus, I was thinking of getting length of 48 inches (I'm about 5' 2''). I've heard frock are getting shorter in length now.

yeah to me it seems sometimes brownish or dark purple but in the first pic it looks maroon. i'm also thinking of this dress for my cousins wedding in maroon color. i have a lady in my inlaws family who is working for designers from home. so i'll ask her to do this for me as the original is expansive for one day wear.

That sounds good Sheal. Are you planning on getting it all maroon?? Any other colours at all? Will you be changing anything? And what length are you thinking?
I'm still in the process of bargaining with them to see if I can get it down to a price I like (through my sister who's visiting right now). :-) We'll see how it goes. I'm thinking of maroon churidar and frock and green dubatta. Or I could get it in purple with a green dubatta? What colour combinations do you think will suit??
