I know this is an entirely different issue, perhaps I should start another thread or something, but whenever I come on GS it seems that everyone has forgotten we are in a recession. How can you spend approx £600 on one dress (not directed at the OP - I mean in general) I don't understand how people spend hundreds of pounds (or thousands of rupees) on clothes. Where are you all getting the money from?????!!!!!

Catastrope - how much did they charge you for the mirage outfit, if you don't mind my asking?! I'm thinking of ordering it. Also, what colour did you order? Is that brown or maroon? I've seen pics of that outfit in white and black.

Also, anyone have any opinions re the Naakhshi kali outfit (it's from last year, green, black & pink in colour, a maxi dress)?

Ladies,

Any suggestions for the Mirage outfit in terms of colour? I don't want it in black or white. Any have any suggestions as to what colour would looks nice? I'm thinking maroon so far, but think of any other colour that would suit. Also, what length to keep for the frock?

Any feedback for me ladies? I was thinking maroon colour for the suit and green for the dubatta (same colour as the colour of the kaam wali patti at the bottom of the dress). Thanks!!

Hey SCG - it’s the Mirage outfit in white that Devilish Angel has posted on this page - a bride’s wearing it in the pics. I was thinking od getting it a formal. The frock shorter, no kaam on the dubatta, just with piping and churidar.
